I went with a straight back in A7… was an awful idea once the novelty wore off… soooooo much drone couldn’t have a convo while driving… eventually I got mufflers put on it before trading the car in for a B9.5 S5… I’m so scared by the previous car I don’t even want to get an exhaust system for my newer car
I understand that, with this setup I don't have any drone unless im cruising under 1800rpm then you can tell but you can still enjoy a conversation with your passengers. I believe a lot of it has to do with the muffler setup if riding in comfort can't tell it's been modified at all.
It does at times smell like a go Kart track on 93 but only really sitting at idle for the most part. When I have it on e85 it smells awesome (imo) like you just opened a fresh jar of moonshine lol
Well the reason I did this is to show others a cost effective option vs spending $2500+ on just a catback. To have the resonators deleted was only $260
@@SMotorworks true yes… if you decide to go further .. the whole catback integrated engineering drone tap is worth it or awe touring … I have the awe touring … you’ll want it resonated trust me… unless your in too annoying drone sounds .. it will sound like a trumpet 🎺 going up hills
@@SMotorworks yup just stay resonated v6 is the worse for drone sounds at high rpm’s …. That’s why I highly recommend the awe - touring system or integrated engineering drone tap catback … I have 3 friends that wanted to go the super cheap route and bought the awe track exhaust … and they were annoyed 4 months later on with how loud it is … way too obnoxious … and wasted money and switched to those exhausts .. anyways have a great day..

Sounds awesome man, how is the smell since you're catless? I'm hesistant on whether to go catless or catted because of smell
