    Growing of own fuel also can be encouraged ...for example fast growing bamboo ....people can grow them and cut for fuel instead of depleting the forests .

      It would be more apt to cultivate woody bushes. Bamboo burns too fast to be useful for large quantity cooking.

    New data is showing that a large uptake of households taking up these new stoves. There is more work to be done in rural areas in particular, Cambodia to enhance their uptake.

    I'm a collector, I like hand made stuffs. How much is this in US dollar? Can I order that in eBay or AMAZON?

      You can buy them at many road side shops for around 5 USD, they weigh about 8 Kg though. Not for sale online. A good reason to come to Laos!

      Hello! You check with our local partners what the price of the cook stoves is. We don't sell these directly, but our private sector partners as we want to ensure that local markets are strengthened not disrupted

    Its amazing 3/4 of the world have been using the same 3 rock stove for the past 1000 years to cook, and not 1 person thought to make a better system. It took a white/ European to show them how to make a better stove. One we figured out 600 + years ago.
