Yea, he’s both. It’s scorpion but they reimagined him as a cross species. He actually has some crazy lore in the game. He was made by doc ock. He’s a scorpion fused with human DNA, and the venom symbiote. It also suggests in his bio that he’s slowly becoming more human. Also, doc ock nicknames him MAC, which stands for My Astonishing Creation. This is obviously a reference to his comic book name Mac Gargan
I think my favorite version of Scorpion is the one in Shattered Dimensions, mostly because I like the design of the 2099 version of Scorpion more than the regular Scorpion's design.
