Thank you Joseph and Margaret for the commintment and good work. I am totally gratefull to you for your help and knowledge in this case. All the effort at the end was worth it.
The advice to anyone, if you do not want to live in USA do not get a green card, if you need to visit a family just apply a visit visa or ESTA, anyone of course has a right for a temporary stay abroad but you have to show that USA is the your home and your absence is just temporary for for a specific purpose.
Hello, may I ask a question: I have submitted form 407 and received I-797C, which only says "this notice will serve as confirmation that USCIS completed processing your abandonment request". I am wondering if I am officially a non-US person now? When I file tax next year, when is my last day as a US person - the 'received date' or the 'notice date' on the 797C? Thank you !!!
