Fun story about you asking how our stadiums survive:
In 2009, AC/DC came to Argentina and played in River Plate stadium. The crowd LITERALLY made sismic movements that weakened the structure of the stadium and the buildings around. After that, other bands came to that same stadium and the government had to PROHIBIT concerts for a time because of the structural damages, and the neighbors feeling sick because of the "quakes" in every show.

We really enjoy his concerts because he don't give to many shows, it's sooooo mistic man ❤ he did one concert in 2016 and the last one was in 2017.... He has a bad health 😞 and the drummer passed away in 2022 💔😞

This band’s crow is loyal to a T…they can fill stadiums or an open field with 400k people. Los Redondos has a very distinctive rock and roll sound, but the lyrics are so clever and powerful that make them unique. One of the greatest band’s from Argentina for sure.

Patricio Rey y los redonditos de ricota was the former name of the band, the lead singer is "El indio Solari" and "los redonditos de ricota" is a sort of pasta (kind of ravioli) that they prepared whenever they get together for rehearsal in the early years. You should definitely react to the best crowd video that others are mentioned. There's a reason why so many bands decide to film their shows in Argentina. Es inreible como bandas como Korn, Limp Bizkit y Mötley Crüe quedaron perplejos por cómo somos los argentinos con los shows y las bandas que vienen a nuestro país. the name of the band WAS "Patricio Rey y los redondittos de ricota". (Patricck King and the ricotta'´s little rounds), the origin of the band was during lates 70´s...(during a complicated moment of our recent history). The band is from my city, La Plata.

Indio Solari used to be the leading voice of the band. After 2001 the band splt appart. Indio kept singing on his own, singing songs from the band as you are watching right now, and Skay Beilingson the principal guitar player of the band, kept singing with his own band. both musicians kept singing the songs from the band and their new songs as well.

El rock en Argentina tiene mucha influencia Inglesa. Argentina es un crisol de música. Hay cientos de bandas de rock. Pop, Rap, y mucho más.
Exacto, lei que algunos artistas argentinos se aburrian esta musica influenciada porque era una copia barata inglesa. Pero pasando mas los años, el rock argentino tomo su propio camino y una identidad mas marcada.

Creo que lo que nos diferencia de otros públicos es que nos gusta sentirnos protagonistas junto con los artistas, no meros espectadores. Entonces nos dejamos llevar por la música y terminan pasando esas cosas, cantamos fuerte, bailamos y terminamos siendo un espectáculo también 😅. Hay un vídeo donde Noel Gallagher simplemente deja que el público cante toda la canción (Don't look back un anger) sin que él interrumpa, porque ya sabía que nosotros cantamos sobre la canción entera y muy fuerte, es el único país donde hizo eso. Sólo en Argentina, no lo entenderías.
Ask yourself why Coldplay would come and play 10 shows only in Argentina as they did... maybe it is because of the passion we show, and because,after Cerati's death, the band would like to play with Soda Stereo members.
Thanks for the reaction! I was actually there on the edge of "the world's biggest mosh pit" and it was insane! You definitely have to come and experience a concert in Argentina for yourself. I was also in a solo Gustavo Cerati concert where I couldn't control where I went, I just had to flow with the crowd and it was scary but insanely fun at the same time.

Well lemme tell you we got something like that and I'm not even joking, we called this "misa ricotera" something like a ceremonial mass with some pilgrimage from every corner of the country just to going to see "Indio Solari", good old times, man.
What you saw is called "the biggest mosh in the world" and it is for a reason, you can find another version in Tandil 2016 (Buenos Aires - Argentina) with Indio Solari mocking on Mick Jagger when he was in the country trying to surpass that crowd and mosh, we all love The Rolling Stones but Los Redondos and El Indio are way over them. We got many others great and successful bands like Soda Stereo you just saw but nothing like Los Redondos, they're a religion, seriously, is insane. They didn't have so much success internationally but man they can give a show and the music with the lyrics along with the unique charisma of the lead singer is what hook everyone around Los Redondos.
I totally second the suggestions over more songs of Los Redondos and reaction to "Argentina, best crowd ever" documentary.

By the way, talking about the argentinian crowds... they are THE BEST, that said by all the greatest artists from USA, England and so many other countries, staring by the Rolling Stones, AC/DC, The Ramones and do on; that's why i'll recoommend you to watch some compilation video that registers much of the examples about what i'm talking about; it's called (modestly) "the best crowd ever", ai can assure you that you won't regret to watch it complete (it lasts for an hour and ten minutes); it would be such entertaining to see you reacting to that; please, try it.

These are the roots of argentinian rock bands (there are some other previous such as Sumo, Soda Stereo, Seru Giran, Los Abuelos de la nada, Virus, GIT...80s rock bands). And actually, the only one who makes the difference are: Airbag (Cae el Sol - Por Mil Noches - And many other songs).
By the way, you can find around 50 rock bands from argentina, and even from Uruguay: "No te va a gustar", "La Vela Puerca", "Cuarteto de Nos" or "La Trampa".
Put it this way: you put the argentinian crowd inside a stadium and then you add the most popular argentinian band of all over the times, and that ' s what you've just seen: 150.000 souls making the GOAT "POGO" .
