Thanks for making this video Chris! After seeing just how strong the cover-stock was for you I knew exactly this was the ball I’ve been looking for. I put the pin on my ball closer to my pap which of course gave me finger weight. Low top weight on my ball which is what I prefer as well. Thanks for this video once again!
Thank you for showing every shot, not just a continuous string of shots that hit the pocket and strike. Much more useful to know what the ball does well and does not do well. Good luck on the tour this season!
I just demoed this ball and man was it sluggish. I have a higher rev rate and this thing was just burning up on me, even keeping my angles straighter. It hit like a pillow. This is another ball that's going to need heavy oil or polish, because it will puke in your backswing if you have any kind of hand, and even then I just don't see myself adding this to my bag. I wasn't impressed at all.
@@XenoGuru A lot of pro shops have the balls pre drilled so you can test them out. No, they're not exactly to your specs obviously, but you can still get a good idea of what the ball will do for you. It had nothing getting to the pins for me and deflected like a bouncy ball.
It's tnt it's dynomite like how hard this ball hits Chris you are not old you throw the ball great. Take care my friend I met you at Wayne Webb's center in Columbus ohio
Cracking up at the oil pattern comments as someone who bowls league there. People who bowl in other houses tell me they score higher elsewhere, now I can legitimately blame the lanes! lol
So I just started bowling about a few months ago, I followed belmonte with 2 hands. But after watching Chris Barnes, he is my favorite player. He is someone I look up to not just as a bowler but a person.
@@jimboscalawag8809 Walter Ray holds the record with 185 TV appearances. But Chris is an amazing bowler. I've always felt bad for him because he got the worst breaks at the worst time. More than any other bowler I've watched since the late 80s. But he's a class act through and through
Looks like if you have a phaze2 don't really need this one. Also looks like it prefers straighter angles. Didn't look real good once you started going left
Not impressed with what I've seen from this ball but it looks like it's burning up early. Would probably benefit from putting some polish on it. That 2k out of box just doesn't seem to be the move
A buddy of mine says he bowled in a ProAm with Barnes back in the 90’s. He said Barnes shot a 900 and was so accurate and precise it would make a laser jealous. I’m inclined to believe him
Soooo I'm curious, we've seen the reviews with the Revenant, Absolute, and now the TNT where it seems the reaction on the ball tapers out after some throws... Is there an issue going on right now with factory surfaces from storm?
Are you guys seeing any inconsistencies with the cover surfaces from Storm recently? I was thinking it was just the Reacta Gloss that would get slimy but I’m seeing the same type of reaction inconsistency with the sanded surfaces too. A surface reset to box surface to get rid of the factory surface seems to fix the issues though. Kind of looks that way in the video. Thanks for all the content!
So this ball does not seem to impress that much. My current equipment is the Zen and Burner Pearl. I also have a Hustle Wine. I need something stronger for for heavier volume lanes. My release tends to provide for a later roll. Recommendations?
TNT will be a ball i start with in league this September.
Color reminds of the reign of fire

what are you using for the spare ball on several shots
I love this ball. threw 731out the box

Usually TNT is “explosive”. That ball looks more like a dud
It appears the cover is SUPER slow. Which is why it looks like a dud. It looks like it really wants long, heavy oil patterns.
I been seeing ppl polish it and it make more boom at the back

@@Mikey-1990 I'm sorry; but honest question:
How does one "demo" a bowling ball??

Check out his tv record.. Its insane. 18 wins and hall of famer 👍..lost over 70 times. I think he holds the record for most tv appearances.

2nd review of this ball and it seems like its a good mixer on light hits but doesn't have the back end power to blow out the pins.
Tnt is the wrong name for this ball. More like firecracker
Thanks Chris
Wow, Chris is like "I shot 205" like he didn't do anything...
TNT...it's COPY-WRITE! LOL
You not an old guy Barnzy, you just mature that's all...God Bless...
From the reviews I've seen so far, that ball does not like to shape from inside. Much better suited for the straighter, down and in types.
I’m commenting before watching, but the core is very similar to the axiom balls.
The colors look good! Classic roto!
Epic odyssey vibes.
After watching comments, I would say the cover would probably be better tweaked, on the dull side to use it for what it is, Or like you said pin down.
Another video where this ball hits like a marshmallow. 🧨😐
Hi Chris, do you think this one would be good for you as a control piece like on wet/dry or short etc ps good luck on tour this year
I like the 'Star Search" segment!!!
Not a fan. Predicting this one won't be popular
Barnzy, I have a gem, rstx2,phaze2,phaze5,night road, hustle usa. where would the TNT fall within my arsenal?
Chris, sang like nobody's listening! 😆

Phaze 2 looks good 😜

Thank you for this video! TNT similar to
Zen Master?
A little earlier and smoother I believe
thanks for the comparison with the old faithfull phase 2 and the lovely reality
How can you compare balls that are laid out differently?? Is old age catching up with you sir ???
Layout isn’t the dominate factor is what a ball does. Can always make comparisons, even if they aren’t going to be 100% same in all factors
People be like "What is Star Search?"😂
ZEN IS NOT A ASYM....
This ball would probably be good on Dragon for me
Phase Two- to angular for me. TNT might be for me.
Looks like a solid control ball.
Hi im back it with it beef and bargi channel...
You guys ready for the pba tour to start up again
Did Chris just say pin down rolls earlier? Again?
What pitch is your thumb ??
That ball looks good! Thank you for the review!!!
Show your age barnzy... with that song.
Etrax is not a super strong cover 🤔

I thought you were having a stroke for a moment when you were giving the core specs 😂.
Love that they didn't reshoot that part lmao

please dont sing anymore chris 😆😆😆

NO SIR!!!! Georgetown is not, nor should ever be compared to Austin!!! Anyway welcome to Mel’s
Yep. I'm from San Antonio. Georgetown and Pflugerville are nice towns. Austin is a dumpster fire now

Global 900 Reality and make sure it stays fairly dull
So just don’t let it get shiny
DV8 Brutal Collision 👌
Keep your day job lol singing no
Chris…did you change the surface any? Either there is a ton of oil there or that ball looks like it would be better suited for light oil conditions.
luis would have a 14 bagger by now on his review
Star Search. Hahahha. Immediately ages you. !! Good stuff.
