In short. TCM ( and TK ) is for Soloing. NCM for farming. SSOT something inbetween, QCM is dmg supp ( basically calendar SC ), PCM healer/tank ( basically calendar AP ), and CDK is party dmg dealer. And the difference beteen TCM and TK is that TK is much more user friendly on the expense of potential. EDIT: Wording
Mad props to the amount of work that went into this resourceful video. This was much for insightful compared to a class tier list, much appreciated and much love for all ur content.
This is one of those topics I've strategically avoided as it often comes down to opinion - However if your stuck hopefully it can point you in the right direction
Nice video! Thanks for bringing it up. I actually saw the chart somewhere in reddit a few weeks ago, but couldn't find it when i was searching it recently to buy more calendar classes. I bought 4 classes. SSoT, PCM, NCM, TK. Here are my thoughts on those classes (as a endgame beginner to forge and ultras) 1. SSoT Mana Vamp makes SSoT easier to use, forge enh making it even easier to use. Using it as a high Hp, low Dmg boss solo, its very good. Only needs to focus on mana and combo, which is fairly easy. But it you use it as a dodge solo for high Dmg boss, it gets really complicated. So i recommend TK if you have forge enh, and Yami if you dont have forge enh. If you get very good at using SSoT, then i dare say that SSoT is one of the best chronos. 2. PCM PCM is actually very nice and used a lot. Good for soloing high hitting monsters, but you need to be careful not to get one shotted at the beginning of the battle. You need skill 2 stacks to reduce the enemy dmg, but some bosses crits you over 20k, which would instantly kill you even with the skill 4 HP buff. Other than that, a better P2W option of AP if you have forge enh, if you don't have forge enh AP is slightly better overall in terms of diversity and sustain. 3. NCM I don't have AM so i cant really compare it with the no.1 farming class of this game, but i do have LR. Comparing it with LR, NCM is faster at farming in all HP farming. NCM has low cooldowns and 100% crit chance making it one shot low HP farming. Because of stacks, NCM is better at high HP farming (20k+ HP) too. The only issue with this class is that you can spam, but spamming makes NCM lose it's ground as a faster farmer than LR Use skill 3 often to maintain your crit 100% buff, spam 2 and 4. Only use skill 5 (your heal) when you are under 40% HP. This is because you lose all your skill 2 stacks when you use skill 5. (Skill 4 the nuke also loses your stacks but chrono nukes are that way :) ) (p.s there are some sustain issues so i recommend LR or AM on hard hitting farms like hydra challenge) 4. TK DO NOT GET TK IF YOU ARE NOT AN ENDGAME PLAYER. I actually do not think TK should be the first chrono to buy. (Unless you're a endgame player) YES it is a brain-dead chrono, Yes it is a 100% dodge class IF you have forge enh. Which means, you do not have 100% dodge when you go full thief + the dmg is weak when you go full thief. And of course you have low dodge when you go full luck. The only place you would use this class (without forge enh) is when you go to a 6 party non-ultra boss fight to have others to tank & buff for you. You also need high weapon boost & tag boost to reach the 200k+ crit nukes you see on youtube. The 200k+ nukes is actually a very important part of TK, because if you do not crit over 200k then VHL or CAv has higher dps) + pots to reach the 1m+ crit nukes you see on youtube. (all based on solo play, in party play it's easier with better results)
Dude I cant comment about other classes but about TK, you will do just fine with just AWE Spiral Carve and Lacerate forge enh with Vim helm are almost just as easy to get. Lacerate prolly even easier than AWE enhacements. And between farming Yami and forge enh... I'd much rather choose the latter.
@hidesidehs5271 yeah I know where you are headed bro, but still there are BETTER options. I got 3 more chronos, QCM, Chrono Commandant, Chronomacer Prime AND I STILL think TK shouldn't be someone's first chrono. Yeah TK performs well even without forge, but too inconsistent One thing I was decently suprised was that chronomancer prime was actually a really good class. Everybody said it sucks, but it's very consistent due to guaranteed crit on nuke & has fast nuke. I stopped using VHL for medium HP bosses (300k - 600k) because it only takes 5 - 10 seconds for chrono prime to kill it. With the same non forge enh, tk can solo crit up to 700k and DOWN TO 40K. There is no need for beginners to use TK AT ALL. The highest nuke I've done with my TK is 5M, while chrono prime did 1M. Yes I KNOW TK is the highest scaling brain-dead chrono with high dodge. BUT DO YOU NEED IT AS YOUR FIRST CHRONO? APPARENTLY NOT AT ALL Why should anyone buy TK as their first chrono? They would only be replacing ROUGE class with TK. You can REPLACE AP with PCM. You can REPLACE CAv with Chrono Commandant. You can OUT PERFORM LoO with QCM. You can OUT PERFORM VHL with Chrono Prime. Why should anyone without forge get TK just to replace rouge, blademaster, horc evader, yami no ronin etc
@@hidesidehs5271 No doubts in TK as a very good class But if you have several chronos and know how to use them all TK becomes a dodge class nothing more special SPECIAL chronos are different, that why despite CMP is the WEAKEST Chrono of all, it's still in " do you want a useful class " TK is loved in several reasons, but that does not mean TK is easy to see the high ground. Nor is it the best in terms of dps or dodge (ssot is better in BOTH) This got very long, to sum up I go back to my original statement TK is not recommended as first chrono, if you are NOT an ENDGAME player
@@dj0505 Never seen SSOT perform better than TK in term of damage. Im not sure, but even if you are able to stack the dot infinitely 1) It takes time before it gets meaningfully high 2) Its not practical, when you want to kill one boss just couple of times and then move on onto another boss. And in term of dodge, you just need lacerate which is prolly even easier to get than awe enhacements and you dodge 100% of the stuff and req. lvl is just 40. Now the main thing. Timekeeper, quantum chronomancer and obsidian paladin chronomancer are the only good calendar class and ultraboss is the current meta so i highly recommend OPCM and QCM. Note: Timekeeper with valiance, vim and lament can turn void high lord into bank high lord
@@Iggarashi Really? Lacerate helps build dmg really well and makes you unhittable. I can keep killing bosses for hours ( since I did ) and all it takes is to not use lacerate and I get killed instantly.
@@hidesidehs5271 Well it depends on the class your using because classes like VHL and CAV can take damage while YNR and TK can easily dodge anything which makes the lacerate's effect kinda pointless while Valiance Boost the stats by 30% (I think) but there are cases where you can use Lacerate like for example CAV +Lacerate+Vim+ Penitence Can practically almost solo all the hard hitting bosses like icewing but it's not a 100% that you will not die on the first try.
