I get chills up and down my spine when “The Old Landmark” is sung at full power and it’s boosted by the Holy Spirit, and the choir members bring out the tambourines and the washboards. And they’re jumping up and down. Awesome! That’s just how God is.
You know as a seasoned choir member I know sometimes the Spirit of God takes over and you just have to shout. Child, at my church the pastor get right with us and we shout together. We miss a sermon sometimes because we be praising. I love the joy of that. Sometimes things be on your spirit and you have to get it off you. I love the freedom of that. God will break every chain.
