Nier is totaly insane, she represent 25% of the master players... some other few characters are unbalanced in this game, not as much as Nier but still... and i seriously thinking to ragequit this game and go back to a more balanced one like SF6. I see Nier players sometimes who are not really good, they dont master the base of the fighting games, but they still beat you because its nier... Good Job really

I remember constantly fighting Ferry’s at the beginning of the first game’s launch back in 2020 since there was very few characters and she was insanely broken
All fighting games have a steve unfirtunately, this one included. SF6 steve isnt so bad tho because its luke so you know exactly how hes going to wreck your shit 😂
Except Nier doesn't have huge buttons and zoning. She wouldn't stand a chance against season 1 Ferry. She's still nasty though, but I think you can deal with her puppet.
She's my favorite character, but I see your point. However, think it's a bit too early for them to nerf her since her counterplay hasn't been realized yet and the game just came out a few days ago.
@@magicmark3588 If they actually nerf her I hope they don't make her outright unplayable. She's a puppet character who has unique tools and her tutorial basically tells you that she's supposed to sandwich the opponent. If she can't sandwich during midscreen combos and pressure then she's practically useless.

Go play her and try to climb, I am waiting for a result. Every person who say that about her can't even juggle between her normals and the puppet properly and also usually people talking smack about her are either Graan or Seox players A.K.A. 2 of the easier characters in the game (and one of them is top 1).

If she's so annoying to deal with then why not try to figure out some counterplay against her instead of asking for nerfs? It's like these people never want to block and figure out Nier's weak points, so they just complain instead of learning how to deal with her.
@@StarBoxz Exactly ! Cuz it is easy to identify a counterplay and weaknesses of Nier. Counter ? Once she throws death for a string, hit between the first and second action and death is on CD for 4 seconds letting time for a rush on her. Weakness ? Once cornered, she has no dp for escaping, you gotta time a throw, dodge or perfect Block until an opening. Puppet characters take time to learn for a reason after all, let's imagine this archetype but it would've a dp, a hard reversal, puppet dependant mobility, etc. This would be bad design and the real example of almost unstoppable mastered puppet characters to me are Zato and Carl.

I really wanted to buy this game after trying out the free version, but if this is the crap I will be having to deal with... no thanks lol.
Nier players are basically melees ice climber players who did literally nothing but wobble their way up the ladder. Disgusting.

Iirc Callisto was the best Katalina player in the previous game. So it’s for sure high level. Ranks don’t mean everything
