smolder only good on enemy teams, my team usually has the monkey version of every yone yasuo smolder etc ,... i farm top with melee under an aggressive range and keep up with farm and no deaths i get no ganks for 20 mins and then suddenly i notice bot is 1/7 and 3/8 and i've wasted another half an hour

I made it to diamond and noticed unless your playing a super broken champ. You cannot 1v5 and that was diamond. Zwagg is obviously a higher rank and like 8 times better than I'll ever be. I just think that "I'll 1v5" mentality is toxic especially in an obvious team game. Why play mid if your going to ignore your jungle when they are getting invaded or ignore dragon fights for another wave of minions...

Yeah I hate to say it but Xerath was definitely my idol/inspiration getting back into the game, but in recent months I’ve unfortunately kinda just mained Illaoi top. Completely unrelated to “Tyler1 grind” I’ve followed DirtyMobs another Leaguetuber for years & it’s kinda just more my style. Illaoi is a shitty team fighting champ and excels in sidelanes. If the rest of the team were able to 4v4 or even 4v3, T1 would have been able to perma pull pressure and force one or two enemies to match him at all times. By all means he played his game correctly, bot+jg+supp just were too far behind and useless to do anything

T1 had a temper tantrum cos he was down to Garen in the mid game and didn't want to help Zwag carry. Idk, man. Even on URF... where the champ should freely stack I still don't see any relevance. The champ just sucks. Even with absurd amounts of stacks. It's not a problem like Veigar, Nasus or ASol when they have absurd amount of stacks.
From what I can tell, it starts out too weak and scales to regular strength over the course of the game, which is exactly a tier down from what a stacking champion should ultimately be.

Solo carrying in low elo is possible, for most players don't know what to do once they get out of lanning phase, have no idea how to play as a team. In worst situation, you can still sit in base late game and try to 1v5 kill them all and get yourself a win

When I finally decided to play ranked games after starting the game in bronze 4, I actually found it really easy to climb to gold Most players can't farm good and you just have to tell your team to group and if you have a high kda, they will definitely listen In gold, while I wouldn't say it's hard, people are more aware of what they're doing so you can't 1v5 as easily

Meanwhile you're having to dodge hell and high water while hitting every skillshot you can just to do half the damage, desperately trying to scrap together your lego bricks enough to build something of a defense, Tyler is getting ganked and 4v1'd while ali is ? pinging him as he kills two of them.... and of COURSE you get the 40% win rate smolder on your team, who asks how to build and play the champion and doesn't stack anything. Yeah low elo is all about being selfish and playing as if you're the only person on the team. I guess it kinda shows if anyone plays this game enough they can get this good. If any of us was making money playing the game a lot more of us would probably get to challenger haha

When I finally decided to play ranked games after starting the game in bronze 4, I actually found it really easy to climb to gold
Most players can't farm good and you just have to tell your team to group and if you have a high kda, they will definitely listen
In gold, while I wouldn't say it's hard, people are more aware of what they're doing so you can't 1v5 as easily
Gold by definition is the most difficult to get past

It feels so bad watching you and T1 both play your hearts out but just getting champion-gapped with how insanely strong TF is right now and how impactful MF can be in any teamfight. Solo? TF R-yellow-Q-Auto's you, you are instantly dead under turret. Team? MF E->R's and gets a penta. Meanwhile you're having to dodge hell and high water while hitting every skillshot you can just to do half the damage, desperately trying to scrap together your lego bricks enough to build something of a defense, Tyler is getting ganked and 4v1'd while ali is ? pinging him as he kills two of them....
and of COURSE you get the 40% win rate smolder on your team, who asks how to build and play the champion and doesn't stack anything. And of course the "We don't have any frontline so I'm building AP Alistar :) We lost." support.
I LOVE when I see a Smolder locked in on their side. Yeah his scaling is strong late…but bro if its ADC role you just guaranteed my bot lane will get ahead early and snowball. Plus his scaling isnt so good that like Vayne, Samira, MF, Aphelios, Jinx or Kog cant do the job 😂 its a bad ADC pick. And Alister AP doesnt help. Maybe if he went tank he could peel and they slow the pace down…but that means nothing with a potential 4 man TF and Xin roam tower dive. Yeah dont let Smolder ADC in your game on your team.
