I have not seen Space Shuttle . I Blame for That Poor tourist information - You need to ask for special ticket to visit space shuttle before You go inside.

I would imagine Museum of Flight Seattle has a bigger collection. Confirmed... at least 150 planes. I think Intrepid has maybe 30 intact planes plus smaller exhibits. Intrepid is still worth the time if you're in New York still just to hang around the ship and see one of only five aircraft carriers turned into a museum ship.
MoF Seattle also has a Concorde and pretty much everything the Intrepid does but with some unique planes (Spruce Goose is a HUGE attraction there) and Boeing planes, of course, since the main Boeing plant is in the area.
Never been there myself but look it up -- they have an M-21 Blackbird with a D-21 mounted on the back, the sole surviving Blackbird of its lineage, the Spruce Goose (already mentioned), and probably more unique and rare planes as well as the planes every major non-military branch aligned museum has -- an F-4, A-4, F-86, F-16, F-104, etc.
