    6:55 ghost glides had flat bottom on their full size skates, but it seems like they only make dots now.

    I had no idea why the yanzi existed, but I guess I'll give them a try now
    The stock skates on the viper v3 pro like to get super dirty for some reason, and I was going to use that as an excuse to finally try out dots or corepads

      Highly recommend the YanZI's arguably my new favorite and tied with the X-RayPad Donut skates.

    personally, the jades is more speed than the tiger ice, i used the small ones tho since the bigger size were peeling off from its adesive when i try to re-place them

    do you know if it's better to have as much of the bottom covered in skate material or as little as possible?

    • @mel0nFPS
      @mel0nFPS 24 дня назад

      Depends on what you want the skates to feel like! The more dots you install the more akin to stock they'll be so the mouse will feel more controlled. The less you put on the faster the mouse will feel.
      For me I generally put on 6-10 dots on my mice but its up to personal preference!

    How would you say the tiger ice v2 compare to the OG tiger ice?

    • @zDennii
      @zDennii 2 месяца назад +1

      I dont had the og ones but the ice v2 are very smooth a bit slower than corepads maybe in dots faster than full skates. I bought only full skates for my g pro and vgn dragonfly pro. But pretty good so far if you need new skates. I wouldnt recommend them on glass because they feel a bit softer than usual ptfe skates.

    Do you have the name of the Ikea glass? looks sick. Is it by any chancr the ikea Malm?

    • @mel0nFPS
      @mel0nFPS Месяц назад

      It was called the VARMBLIXT, it has a special frosted coating on it that's unique to this item that works as a mousepad. I've tried a couple other surfaces from IKEA but I haven't been able to find anything with the same frosting.

    Will skates be interchangeable between the gpx1 and gpx2?

    • @mel0nFPS
      @mel0nFPS Месяц назад

      The Tiger ICE V2's probably not due to the poor adhesive, the YanZI's most likely but it'll depend how long you've had them installed. Both should fit on the GPX 1.0 and 2.0 without any issue.

      @@mel0nFPS Okok ty ty just ordered the normal yanzi skates not the dot ones. I also have adhesive remover in case any gets stuck to the mouse 👍.

    I purchased a pack of tiger ice v2 from amazon and will say that 50% of the dots ended up being ruined due to the sticky part staying stuck to the plastic wraps. Will prolly never purchase them again!

      I had the same issue on the first batch of ICE v2's I got. I guess it's more of a wide-spread problem than I thought.

    I really enjoy your content and you give a lot of really good information and clearly have highly developed understanding of the products you review, I hope you won’t take the following subjective opinion poorly.
    I would love it if you just slow down a little. You talk so quickly it can sound like you are announcing a horse race and the result is that it can come across as rushed even when what you are saying is well researched. I’m a native English speaker so I can understand you fine but the speed you speak at can take away a little in my opinion from your content. I would also think of your potential viewers who may not be native English speakers as for them this must be really difficult.
    Again I love your reviews so I hope the attempt at constructive criticism doesn’t come across as anything other than me just wanting to see you really take off.

      Hey! Thanks for the feedback. I'm naturally a VERY fast speaker and believe it or not this is me talking slow in this video haha. I used to fully subtitle my videos to make it easier for people to follow the videos but the program I was using has been broken for several months now so I haven't been able to properly subtitle my videos. I'm trying to find another program so I can re-do the subtitling but I've been having trouble finding one that works well for more technical terms.
      I'll keep working on a fix or I'll try to swap the pacing of the videos in the future.
      Thanks again for the feedback!
