    Hi Vlad, I want to ask you.. how easy (or difficult) it is to get a residency visa in Dubai?
    I mean does it have to be on the company/sponsor ..or there's a way to have visa on your own account and such ?
    Thanks

    Hey,
    Loved the video. I am married with no children and me and my husband love to go out and do things together, but we like quiet as well as the city. Which city would be better? And I am applying for teaching jobs and wanted to keep my options open. Where else could I apply? My husband has a business here in the US,, could he do it in UAE?

    @ Dubai Vlad Hi, I have a job offer in Abu Dhabi and will be based in the Etihad HQ which i understand is on the border of AD and Dubai, which i hear makes commuting a little easier - If i were to live in the Marina, do you know how long it would take to drive to AD during morning rush hour traffic, I'm trying to decide whether i can deal with the journey every day - thank you in advance.

    • @DubaiVlad
      @DubaiVlad  7 лет назад

      To be honest, I would tell you to take it. I worked at Flash entertainment for 2 years and I did the commute from the Marina to 2454 in abudhabi daily and it was fine, once you are doing it, its fine. The salary your receive makes it worth it. Cheers and good luck. It should take you between 40 minutes to 60 minutes in the morning and about the same to go back home.

      Perfect thank you for responding, another quick question, my fiancee will be joining me but obviously needs to find a 9-5, we have both been looking whilst in the UK but have found it difficult. Do you think it will be easier for him to find something whilst there, also he is a DJ and wants to get involved in the UAE scene, will he need to be sponsored in the same way if he were to get a few bookings?
      Sorry for all the questions :)

    Is the recession affecting Dubai in terms of employment, living costs, etc ??

    • @DubaiVlad
      @DubaiVlad  8 лет назад +1

      Yes, it depends on your specific sector of activities, but in terms of event planning (my field) we are definitely feeling the heat, that and mixed with the slow months of summer=slow business activities. It should pick up in sept, oct, nov.

    Nice vlog vlad! Big hug from Portugal. Could you please tell me if you can use Skype (or similar) for international video calls, both in Abu dhabi and dubai, without any problem?

    • @seriousaf8020
      @seriousaf8020 6 лет назад

      Skype is allowed there as far as I know, even if it's not allowed, you can easily use a VPN app to bypass the block.
