I THOROUGHLY enjoyed the commentary!!!!! Your rug cleaning is very professional and thorough. Beautiful job and beautiful rug🤍✨💖🤍✨💖. Thank you💕
Thank you so much!
First off I would never have thought you were nearly 60 and secondly I love watching your videos both with and without voice-over, keep doing what you enjoy doing no matter how fast or slow people think you go, it's your job and you want the rugs to go back home as perfect as you and your wife can get them xx
Yay, thank you Diane, made my day. although after a full day of cleaning heavy rugs i feel more like 80 😁😁

Hi, great video really enjoyed it. Great information. Don’t rush , keep doing what you are doing it’s fab and no need to make a fake dirty rug, stay true, you guys are brilliant ❤xx oh and you don’t look nearly 60 by the way 🎉
What a lovely comment, Made my day, Thank you Sarah. 💜
💜💜💜 Excellent video!! I remember this rug, it was quite filthy. You whooped it into shape though, and it got a double dose of CRB!! Superb job Derek! I like the circles you do on the rug with the rotary!! 💜💜💜
Thank you Karen. 💜💜💜
Wow that was very informative I truly enjoyed it! You brought beauty back to this carpet. Thank you for sharing this video and explaining what you were doing! ❤❤❤
Thanks so much! 😊
No don't do a fake one - you are the only rug cleaner I watch BECAUSE you use real rugs. Not interested in fake dirt. Just wish I could bring you my rugs
Fabulous vid. I have a couple of Persians that need serious cleaning. Am in South Africa and I'll shop around a bit to make sure whoever I choose displays the same level of knowledge as you. Thank you 😊
Thank you, their are great rug cleaners out there, i know a few, unfortunately non reside in south africa though. Good luck. 💜
I’m about to start a rug spa business. I’ve asked some rug experts for advice. But every time I mention I’m starting this business they try to scare or defer me from starting. Saying rug cleaning is risky and a dangerous business when it comes to people’s rugs. As if I’m going to start on antique rugs off the bat. Why do they constantly try to stop me from starting this business? I don’t understand why they are so bitter about it. We all have to start and learn somehow.
I say get some really good basic training under your belt, the more courses you do the more confident you will be. I travelled from the UK to indianapolis last year for 3 days of training learning about dye bleed and dye bleed correction. you can never attend enough training courses but do as many as you can, i've lost count of all the courses ive done. Other than that go for it, don't let others dissuade you from doing what you desire. Rug cleaning is a great business to get into. We love what we do, we learn something new every day, all rugs are different, it can be daunting but at the same time, thats where the excitement lies. Good luck and hopefully watching my vids will help a little. And who knows, you may one day travel to the UK to do some training courses with us. 💜💜💜
@@ArcadiaRugSpa Thank you for the words of encouragement. Truly appreciated and much needed.
I am definitely willing to travel and learn. I’m not the type to jump into a profession without having the knowledge and on hand experience. I’ve collected over 50 free/thrown out rugs and still collecting. Saving them from the land fields just so I can practice on all the different fibers, including the mixed fibers with different stains, dirt levels, and damages. Perfect for practice and experience. After I deep clean those rugs, they will be donated to homes who need them. After so many rugs, I’m sure to feel confident enough to start taking clients.
I’d love your information to check out future classes you have to offer. Your videos have helped me come to the point of starting my own business. You’re so calm, knowledgeable, and positive and that’s what I appreciate about you and your videos. You’ve been a mentor, though you wouldn’t know it. Thank you! ☺️
Really interesting commentary. For goodness’s sake don’t do fake stuff, although having said that an example of what they do and how they do it would be very interesting indeed!
🐌🤣🤣🤣 some folks just dont appreciate 💜💜💜
Very satisfying dirt action! It is so appreciated that all your rugs are genuinely dirty, but just for fun one day i would love to see your POV of how a fake rug cleaning is created.
Maybe one day!
You are not too slow! I would think that going too fast wouldn’t allow the dirt to lift out.
Agreed. Thank you. 💜
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤so relaxing and interesting. Nice to know what's happening and why on top of the sounds and visual. Curious are you using cold or hot water 🤔 have no idea why my brain is wondering
Glad you enjoyed it! Cold water 95% of the time. Thank you 💜
Seeing you use acidic detergent to help prevent bleeding.. what happens in the situation it does bleed? Is there a way to say fix the dye that bled on another part of the rug?

I have a very dirty rug you could clean. In fact I have 2 and they will be coming to you for a clean. At some point. 🙏
Hi from Moscow ❤
Hello there! or should i say привет из Великобритании 💜
What acid detergent do you use.? I use an acid rinse to clean them.
Mainly oriental rug cleaner from chemspec.
I'm coming in a bit late, but please don't do any content creating! We've got plenty of channels "finding rugs at the dump" that are so dirty you can't even tell it's a rug, we need more genuine washings
Please don't do the commentary want to hear the sounds of the actual cleaning 😢
We've done both. ruclips.net/video/dakum7kxJS4/видео.html
