@@AbdurahiimRoberts Palm trees when grown from seeds need to be handled in a special way. If you plant a date seed you need to remove the hard seed and its sheath around the root and replant to get a female plant. The folk story goes that a family planted these palms as a way to show off their prestige, you know how Arabs are. Then other families made fun of this engineering marvel by saying that these palms are male and fruitless, lol.
