      I fell in love with the FM4 the first time I heard it! Still love it. I really wish they would make a smaller version.

    I must confess the pedal didn’t impress me that much on its own, but once you added Reverb, Delay and Fuzz, it really opened up avenues of future dreamscapes. There’s an art to matching effects like that and I commend you for that.

      @@professorpedropontes4402 thanks!! There’s a bunch of pedals that do similar things these days. Back in 2008 when I first tried it I was blown away buy the synthy glitchy nature of it. It definitely is something that morphs when using other effects.

    That thing sounds HUGE! Is there a compact version of it?

      @RPMusicStudios  4 месяца назад +1

      @@doublespeak8745 the sounds from it are in the line 6 HX one. Not as glitchy though

    Great video, did you put it before or after the distortions?

    • @RPMusicStudios
      @RPMusicStudios  4 месяца назад +1

      Thanks! Yes I put the fm4 before distortion. I do the same with the original DL4 as well be cause of signal loss and digital artifacts.

    Would the HX Stomp have this built in to it? Since it's supposed to have all of Line 6 effects?

    • @RPMusicStudios
      @RPMusicStudios  8 месяцев назад

      The Hx Stomp has these effects but some are “improved” . This means some track better but people like me like the glitchy quality of the original.
      My favorite sound is the synth-o-matic and it doesn’t have the same edge or glitchy nature and sounds flat in the HX stomp.

      It's cool indeed, the mono synth patches can do some cool stuff with toy keys, and of course the filters are fun on em 👍

    It does not sound right to me. Reminisent of a 80's casio.

      It’s 20 years old . At the time there was nothing like it for guitar players. I dig it
