- Lenggong is a town in Hulu Perak District, Perak, Malaysia. The Lenggong valley in Hulu Perak is one of Peninsular Malaysia's most important areas for archaeology, as excavations have revealed many traces of Malaysia's prehistory. It is the site of the oldest known place of human activity in the Peninsula. Many of the caves in the Lenggong area have revealed evidence of ancient humans having lived and hunted in this area. The Lenggong Valley was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site on 30 June 2012.
玲瓏是馬來西亞霹靂州Hulu Perak縣的一個城鎮。玲瓏谷是馬來西亞半島最重要的考古地區之一，因為挖掘工作揭示了許多馬來西亞史前史的痕跡。它是半島上已知最古老人類活動地點。玲瓏地區的許多洞穴都揭示了古代人類在該地區生活和狩獵的證據。玲瓏谷於2012年6月30日被聯合國教科文組織列為世界遺產。

真的好怀念，我妈就是来自padang grus 新村，小时候每年华人新年，都会回家乡度过，而lenggong 就是必经过的镇，也算是那一区最靠近的镇。 由于从小就是城市里长大，去到这里才体会到kampung 的感觉，看着视频，依然是那熟悉的大街。
可以有kampung回去過年都是幸運的，小地方的魅力不是城市人可以理解的。想必你的童年回憶裡一定充瞞著滿滿的幸福👏

@@mybabylokey agreed on the food part. Just that I didn't stay long enough at Lenggong as one of the friendly guy I met invited me for a hiking next morning. Maybe it left the feeling of some unfinished business and tempt me to go back again 😬

地理上拥有仙境般的大自然风景，尤其是早上八点左右在那儿有一层的雾云在湖上非常迷人，我曾去过了几次，在江沙路往玲珑的路途遥远，但很回味那边，我想以后有机会还是很想再去那边看看！太想念这个地方了。
那一天我們從吉隆坡上去的時候，也是大約七點多經過，也已見到有一層霧氣，可惜沒轉進去湖邊看看，直接去了玲瓏鎮。
我們下午去拍的時候，從航拍的畫面已經看到很像仙境一樣，可以想像早上應該更美，有時間也想再去看看。

Regarding the revisiting part, maybe not in the plan at the moment, but recently I did went back to Papan to capture some drone footage, while I was covering Pusing town. Will post that next month, stay tune!
@@10cFILMHaving a mandarin version should definitely appeal to viewers beyond the klang and kinta valleys. Even in KL and PJ, mandarin has become the main language of younger Chinese speakers. Sadly, like many of the small towns you feature, use of dialects in our country may one day be a thing of the past.
@@simunooi5306exactly my thoughts, just taking care of wider audience's need. Sadly, many Chinese parents don't practice dialects at home, sure one day the dialects would be diminished. But I'll upload both versions, so that the Cantonese still be on RUclips for many years to come, either as a memory or archive of dialects once we have spoken

My mom's hometown....man...i miss those times i go back during CNY,hang out with my cousins,go karaoke,go swim at waterfall,the neverending-Oi,sek fan,sek fan loh....got seat alrd...lol and then Blackjack....and of coz beerlah!!!!Good times.... and yeah the lai fan also....Nice vid!!!

We were actually first time in Lenggong without prior arrangement with anyone, so we know little about that place, and this is also our way to explore a new place for its novelty and surprises (I'm a keen street photographer, if you know what that means)

My late father grown up in Kuala Kangsar and sometime brings family to Tasik Raban for picnic when we back hometown for Raya. Its one of many nostalgic memories when I was young and probably will never experienced it again since we were all grown up and busy with jobs and university

My favourite thing about Lenggong is the amount of cats. So many cute cats roaming around. It is said that if stray cats are not afraid of people, then the people in that area must be friendly.
I didn't see much of the stray cats during my visit but I wholeheartedly agreed on the friendly people remark 👍

在70年代到80年代，我常在学校假期到大姐家帮忙照顾几个外甥，做些小家务。当时，親家公就是福建会馆的主席/會長。姓黄。店裡有存放一捆一捆的煙葉。還有姐夫的樹膠丸和樹膠片。隔了很多年，隔壁的洋货店转换了賣雲吞麵。

Actually Lenggong is my type of town, peaceful and good for living.
We are base in Selangor, but somehow Perak has more historical townships for exploration

@@10cFILM 樓主我去嘅地方冇行程安排都係隨性咁睇，睇到景色優美就停步，其實古樓 、老港 、18丁、馬登，我都覺得唔錯環境，但因為大部分講普通話與地方方言，變成溝通有障礙。樓主有時候冇規劃行程拍攝係最真實，我睇過8TV節目叫乜 新村 ，我覺得只係交流，冇真正帶出小鎮俾遺忘褪去曾經輝煌

Uncle 7 restaurant ???? Behind the main road , i remembered a Pejabat Pos or Balai Polis . Fresh water fish were served . Also , i heard Uncle 7 passed away fee years back & the sons + grandsons were running the stall .
