- Since I've been playing Oblivion recently after a long time away I'm now checking out all the good mods that I've missed. So, here's a special look at an incredible mod that makes Oblivion really beautiful.
WARNING: You may need quite a decent computer to run all this.

Also used in this video are RAEVWD (Really Almost Everything Viisible When Distant), QTP3 1.3 (Qarls Texture Pack 3 1.3), Bananasplit Better Cities and Let the People Drink.
Edit: Some screenshots at 1920x1200 at a FOV of 90 and everything turned up to max. FPS counter is visible to see heavy fps impact (my system specs are at the end of this description). The main FPS drain is 'Better Cities' though, the huge amount of clutter is the real culprit instead of OBGE.:

You will probably need to use either BAIN (Bash Installer) or OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager: www.tesnexus.co... ) to install RAEVWD.

NOTE: Your game will probably seem to freeze up the first time you load the game with the shaders installed. Don't worry! Your game hasn't crashed/frozen. This is just a long loading period that occurs the first time you use these shaders. You just have to be patient as it can take quite a while.

Farewell Oblivion with Skyrim in fewdays. Oblivion gave me lot of fun! Now it's time to move on. Great video, thanks for sharing.

Nice to see a video just about beauty and not about all the nonsense going on in the world today. The graphics look so crisp it's almost better than real life lol! I noticed when you focus on one thing everything blurs out though. The music at 2:47 is so lovely. I don't remember it from the official game though. All together, this video took my breath away. Keep up the excellent work.
Wow, this really reminded me of how much I loved Oblivion. Despite all its flaws, it had some weird captivating nature to it that I'll never forget, especially because Skyrim couldn't give me that feeling again. Seeing these graphics mods really makes me want to play again. I mean, even seeing you at the top of that mountain made me remember how much better it felt to get that high in Oblivion than it does in Skyrim.
Murolo this has to the best video showcasing oblivions graphics, thank you :D! But I wold like to tell you I had a perfect selection of oblivion mods that I spent hours and hours perfecting without making them look overdone, and I dont think I have the energy again to reinstall them all, I had taken sugestions from your videos showing the mods u hav, and I would just like you to know all my good memories from the game comes back from your videos :D!

another reason why i wish i had oblivion for the comp :/ its beautiful :DD and its been so long since i played but now after watching this i think ima play right now :D and the music is just perfect and i hope to hear this kind of music in skyrim :).

omg man, my eyes are bleeding. Im so glad i stayed sub to you when you where on hiadus. Btw are you going to be doing any more play throughs of mods and if you do do you think you could do some commentray over them? Like for videos like this you dont need commentary but for playthroughs and some of the more complicated mods it would be nice to have you explain the mod or just talk about what you like about it or any bugs. But anywho, love the vids man keep them coming =D.

While this does improve the look of oblivion by a long shot. The fact people think it looks better than skyrim is just stupid to me.

Btw, I see you also have "Enhanced Vegetation" mod (or something that makes trees bigger). I just installed it and it is amazing, love it so much.
i just got oblivion for the PC =0 ive played it on the xbox for all this time, with save data adding up to almost 1000 hours. oblivion for the pc has BLOWN MY BALLS. best game of all time hands down. a couple amazing mods i dint see (this was more of a graphics thing tho right?) a couple of things that have really changed the experience for me has to be Oblivion XP, creature diversity, harvest containers/ flora, mage equipment 21, midas magic =p, for sure the darNified UI, and enhanced economy.
@WackamonThe4th and, if you wanna use OBGE, and installed it correctly, make sure to check your inventory in misc. section. there's a item you can activate and modify the shaders. to activate shaders, hold down "Shift" key and click one of the shaders you wanna activate. and if you wanna deactivate one of them. hold down "Ctrl" key and click. ^_^ simple, but, to me, modifying value of shader is a little bit difficult. XD

@WackamonThe4th ^_^ I'm glad it worked. to prevent lag anymore, be sure not to use SSAO shader. that makes a lag a lot XD

I'd like to play it, but I seem to crash whenever the I put the plugin OBGEV2 or whats in the plugins folder of OBSE, without obgev1 there or depthoffield test plugin either. Anyone dealt with this problem?
I just have a question for everyone who can help me. I got OBGE up and running fine. But when running in crossfire I have these mild fast texture flickering and on the edges of models and stuff. Does anybody know a solution to fix this. I'd like to have both graphics cards working full power since these mods take quite a lot of usage. My specs are on my channel if required. Any help will be appreciated and thanks in advance.
The readme asks for a OGE shaders package to be extracted to the data folder when I only downloaded the OBGEv2 Core, is there something I need to download aswell? The oge?

Howdy, what do I do with teh Docs Extas Shaders and Obse folders? I put them in a folder and then went over the folder with obmm and it ddnt say any files were there. So im kind of dissapointed, anywho can you help me out?
Do you ever get random blue spots popping up for a split second? It's like a blue shaped circle that appears randomly...i dunno how to fix this ":S

i really wana try out better cities but it seems like it would clash with a whole bunch of mods, also is that thing you showed that adds blur to things not in focus performance hungry at all?
do you have to edit the ini to change or turn off settings? or is there MENU mod like in mgxe
Can someone please upload a tutorial for the OBGEv2 or OBGEv3 of both the installing process and shader alteration process, it's got me confused, I've spent like 3 days trying to get this to work before I play oblivion, I have patch 1.2, knights of the nine and shivering isles dlc :) !x
I'm not sure if you know what to do about this, but my ColorEffects.fx seems to be screwed up. No matter what settings I change, it's got this really bad bright yellowness that covers everything to the point where I cant see. Do you know how to fix this?
i downloaded the core file(deadly reflexes said that was all i needed for blood on screen) but i don't know where to save it. do i just save it under the oblivion directory or do i open data and save it under that?

@Murulo How many fps you getting? i how a few shaders enable with Qarls texture pack with a core i7 rig and a 470 geforce and im getitng between 30 and 40 fps. I want more fps as i havent added any mods yet.

If i'm running QTP3, and if i was to install OBGEv2. if i was to have them both running at the same time, will there be any conflict?

Murulo I is havin difficulties installin coz there isnt a readme or specific list of what to do, its just these plug-in files that I dont really know how to use, I tried googling the question and it was unanswered but was in search suggestions, it would be nice if you could reply to me with step by step rules or post a video, im sure it would get lots of views :D

one of DoF shaders, there is CrysisDoF. I've been using that thing. but, I haven't used the other DoF shaders.
What DoF shader would you recommend for me? Crysis thing looks fine enough. runs fine. I just chose this as the name says it all to me that " oh, this is from Crysis_Warhead. oh! this would be great.".

why is your crosshair showing up in 3rd person? hopefully this can be disabled as it skews the depth of field/blur effect way too much
@WackamonThe4th well, you should have decent enough computer, but not that much. My computer spec is Core 2 duo CPU, 2gb ram, windows vista, Geforce 9500. And I installed so many games in my computer. but OBGE works fine. just a little bit lag, but fine for me. obge make your computer look gooooood , but making a little slow.
why can't bethesda do exactly this as a remake of morrowind :(

What? What do you care? Do you work for Bethesda so you're jumping to its defence? It's not his job to do better and the people of Oblivion obviously do look stupid as fuck since pretty much everyone uses mods in order to correct that, besides the fact that game companies clearly can do better than what Beth with Oblivion's people. Let's just be glad they let us mod the game as much as they did though.
