"Associating with such trash." Yeah, many could attest to that in life. I'm quite happy see Wardlow get his moment. Now, the program we have being waiting for has come.
That man is articulate and clear when he speaks and still is when turning up the aggression. AEW have a monster on their hands with Wardlow and im glad we're all front and centre to witness the rise. Will Brian Cage be his replacement?
His character is much more nuanced than a year ago. Wardlow will lose though, with MJF planting a ring into his face. *HANGMAN STORY* Maxwell will face Hangman for the World Title, beat him with help from Pinnacle as Hangman is left all alone (He got a Dark Order Disappointment thing going). Pinnacle will shove it in his face next, claiming how without friends Hangman is nothing, he can never do it on his own. Which is a huge turning point for Hangman, because it makes sense. Hangman was on high when he was with The Elite, then when they broke up, he dropped from sky. Then got up with help from Dark Order. He may not needed either Elite or Dark Order to win his matches, but he needed that external validation to fulfil his dreams of getting to top. And boom, just like that, we have the next redemption arc for Hangman to face that develops his character, just when we thought we got a finished product. Hangman goes back to the beer drinking lad again, except this time he's enraged and unleash hell upon *bad* guys in AEW. The story is not another "you people turned on me" thing. Hangman is still a crowd pleasing good guy, except this time he doesn't listen to them when they say enough is enough. He attacks bad guys whoever gets in his way, like Jericho Appreciation Society, and other factions in the company. He is much like Thor after he lost Loki, he is focused on unidentified rage while not hurting good people. *Hangman vs Moxley* Then it goes on for a year or so until he faces Jon Moxley at Revolution 2023/2024. The story begins shen Jon claims that he understands the rage within Hangman so well, and Jon is a man who knows what it feels like to be left out by his friends, falling behind and everyone telling him he's not good enough without them (Shield). The two have a badass match at Revolution, it's not about winning, it's about who hurts the other more. Hangman unleashes his rage, but Moxley pushes him to a level that Hangman cannot just accept. Moxley plays the devil, like Bray Wyatt from WrestleMania 30 asking Cena to attack him with chair. Hangman wins like Cena, ending it with a definitive empathy ; Buckshot Lariat. And just like that, Hangman has found the true limits to his self. Moxley represented the devil in Hangman's mind. And by fighting and winning, Hangman overcame the devil, without any friends to mentally support him. *Moxley vs Bryan* This starts issue between Bryan and Mox though. We know the history between Bryan and Hangman, so when Moxley occupied himself with Hangman, Bryan felt disrespected. The issue brews for few weeks, with Bryan playing not tagging Moxley in matches, etc. When confronted, he finally demands a match with Mox, they agree and wrestle a match where things get heated. Regal stops the match. A civil war occurs within the team of Dante, Wheeler, Darius, Garcia, etc etc. It gets hated to the point they brawl, and William Regal screams BLOOD AND GUTS. However, Regal asks them to be honourable and glue back together after the match. Bryan and Mox makes the vow to Regal. Blood and Guts, Mox team wins. Bryan, unraged, attack Moxley the next week, ruthlessly injuring him. Regal confronts Bryan the next week, calling Bryan a honorless pig. Regal slaps him, and cuts ties with him. Bryan left in the ring ashamed in disbelief, with the crowd chanting "shame" like Regal did. The next week, however, things have changed. In a backstage segment, the young prospects from the team no longer wants to work together, and go their own ways respectfully. To which Regal is proud of, and claims Mox would be proud of it too. They're their own men now, and it is the end of their faction. Regal goes to the ring to announce that Mox is just fine, and will be cleared in 3 weeks. Before he could leave, Bryan attacks him. Sending him packing on ambulance. However, the days are counting, and it's only a matter of time before Moxley comes back. So Bryan engages himself in ruthless matches, presenting himself a in a never seen before violence, to try intimidate Mox before he comes. However, Mox comes back fearlessly and they brawl. Their third AEW match is made. Brutal match, Mox wins. .

No, lol. Don't get me wrong, this whole story with Wardlow has been amazing and he really does have a lot of talent, so much that I really do hope they push him all the way eventually. He definitely deserves it. But c'mon, lol. Batista is literally a legend who was a huge chunk of what made the ruthless aggression era, which was an awesome era in wrestling. Wardlow doesn't even compare at the moment.
It's natural to make that comparison, but I think it's not fair to Wardlow to put so much pressure on him. He doesn't need to match Batista's career, he can just try to be the best he can and I'm sure there will be good things ahead for him, given that he has the look, the facials, he can do what a big man should do in the ring, it sounds like he can talk naturally and the fans for the moment are behind him.

All the respect and admiration for Wardlow. I know he's not one of the four pillars of AEW, but I will considered Wardlow as one of the futures of AEW.
Ngl I only see MJF and Darby being the only credible pillars by becoming AEW world champion and main event status in the future. I think AEW shot themselves in the foot when they put Sammy and Jungle Boy as part of the 4 pillars. Wardlow and Ricky Starks should replace them because they got mic skills, can wrestle, and fit into future main event status. MJF got the best mic skills of course but Darby also can talk but in a slow methodic way which suits his character. Sammy and Jungle Boy are better suited for the mid card and don't fit into the main event. Both Sammy and Jungle Boy got weak mic skills and can only wrestle. Jungle Boy is definitely the weakest link out of all the 4 pillars too
"If you think MJF is just going to let you run off and focus on winning titles then you have another thing coming! See you next Wednesday when you compete for the TNT championship." - (in the voice of MJF)

@@quakeaboveall5048 well if that isn’t the dumbest take I’ve read all week. MJF is great but he’s not the only great person in AEW with potential to carry the company.
The feral aggression seen in the ring from Wardlow now balanced against the calm, clear, articulate demeanor truly makes him the Symphony of Destruction.
He knows how to work with crowd. When to increase his volume to cheer up crowd and when to keep it a bit serious. I need to get myself ready for more promos of him. He is going to cut far better promos than this and with the physique of him and his promos ability, he can create a great character. And character is the most important thing in pro wrestling. In ring ability can fluctuate but once your character is matured the only thing you are gonna see is success
Scorpio Sky deserves better than a "transitory" Championship... That being said- a TNT Title vs Contract match with MJF is most likely eventual- especially if The Pinnacle interferes next week.
It's good that he performs at the stick well. I was honestly worried about that, but he did good. And with the talent in the locker room, he'll only get better.
What always got me about Wardlow is that his nonverbal expressions and body language told so much more than words. In kayfabe, Wardlow's mind was always working. Good babyface promo. Wardlow has been brought along and the crowd loves him.
I always thought Wardlow is just a silence enforcer who is lacking in mic skills but damn, this promo is pretty good. I an looking forward to see his solo run.
I am pleasantly surprised with the direction in which they decided to take his character! I was expecting a "I am a cool big babyface" but Wardlow ended up being this thoughtful, soft spoken, kind machine of destruction. I dig that. If he can pull it off, he might just be one of the best big men in wrestling.
I watched a Wardlow interview a month ago. I have been waiting for him to get to the point where he tells his story in the ring. He spoke about his life and goals for the future. I see him achieving everything he plans including being a major Hollywood star. He has that IT Factor and he is a good talker and actor.
@@xxxmetalslugga5349 never said Joe wasn't a good talker. But when he started, he didn't have the body of work behind him to back up the attitude. The more experience he got, the bigger that kayfabe chip on his shoulder got, the more commanding those promos became. Give Wardlow a few years to spread his wings and he'll find that next level of confidence.
I am impressed to see Wardlow with a mic. His smooth explanation reminds me about people struggling to live & undergo life difficulties. AEW changes many indie wrestlers who signed under this flag. Salute you AEW! Keep making changes in Pro Wrestling world..
I like how they didn’t make it about good/evil it’s more about “it’s my time to shine.” Hopefully they don’t rush it he still needs to build his character more into a singles character instead of a faction.
Count me among the folks who are utterly shocked that War's got this level of talent on the mic. Reminds me of Batista, though he didn't get to this point as a storyteller until well into his career. As Corney says, it could use a bit more bass, but this is pretty damn impressive for his first time in the spotlight.
This is a good move for Wardlow's career. He has a lot of talent and it's good to finally see him step out from MJF's shadow. He deserves the spotlight.

One of my favorite parts of the CM Punk/MJF fued is how flawlessly they managed to make it just as much about Wardlows arc in realizing his own power in deciding his own value as they made it about either punk rediscovering the wrestler he once was or max unwrapping his villain backstory over his childhood idol. Seeing that he can talk good on the mic, the sky is officially the limit for him.
MJF is going to have something to say about that I am guessing at DoN we'll get Wardlow Vs MJF with a stipulation if he beats MJF he contractually free from him. However this was a good promo from him very articulate. Revolution 2022 is a night that Wardlow will always remember because that is the night that he broke to stardom status. From a bodyguard that we haven't heard off to now he has come along way AEW definitely should be proud of themselves on how they built up Wardlow to this moment.
This promo was really fucking good and it underscores why Wardlow is 100% a future AEW World Champion. He's a smart and obviously well-spoken freak of nature that's been gradually getting over with the fans the last couple months and is set to become the next big babyface in AEW when this whole MJF storyline is over and done with. He’s only gonna get better too
All the respect and admiration for Wardlow. I know he's not one of the four pillars of AEW, but I will considered Wardlow as one of the futures of AEW.
He may not be one of the four pillars but I bet you he beats all 4 of the Pillars of AEW
Jungle Boy is definitely the weakest link out of all the 4 pillars too
This is the first time we hear Wardlow talk and he knocked it out of the park.. Tony has finally got that alpha dog powerhouse that this company needs
Wardlow vs HOOK would break the internet. we just have to wait a while.
I’d rather that Hook and Wardlow unite as a tag team and face Jungle Boy/Luchasaurus for the Tag Titles
@@cesareaugusto9677 that is not a bad idea
@@nobodybutsunder Right? 2 of the steadily-rising AEW stars teaming up? Makes sense to me!
Hook vs mjf
And it would also break HOOK lol
He's got the walk, he's got the talk, give this man a title
"If you think MJF is just going to let you run off and focus on winning titles then you have another thing coming! See you next Wednesday when you compete for the TNT championship." - (in the voice of MJF)
"CAUSE IM BETTER THAN YOU AND YOU KNOW IT" MJF Voice
Holy shit!!! Wardlow got mic skills. Good on him. I can’t wait for his future
This man will carry AEW for years to come and I’m excited to see it. He’s such a nice guy and deserves it all.
Mjf can only carry Aew. No punk, no Daniels in, no moxly no old junks.. Remember. Mjf is the real deal in Aew. Nobody is better than mjf rn.. Wardlow is just another hobbs..
@@quakeaboveall5048 well if that isn’t the dumbest take I’ve read all week. MJF is great but he’s not the only great person in AEW with potential to carry the company.
Hes a work in progress, and has potential Pump the brakes a little
@@tobiasfarragut292 yes, I suppose I could have worded it as “he has potential to carry AEW for years”
Fair point
@@thegame7134 u say something good about dude then he loses to Pockets..then where are you? Lol
Excellent promo for the younger generation. Love it. Go Wardlow
Wardlow will go far with the passion he has within his heart an soul. Glad he made this step forward.
Wardlow is a legit superstar❤️
I think Wardlow's new personality changes everything and it gets even better. He is now the fan-like star of AEW
The feral aggression seen in the ring from Wardlow now balanced against the calm, clear, articulate demeanor truly makes him the Symphony of Destruction.
I have a feeling that MJF will cost Wardlow a title shot, by interfering in his match to setup a long feud, between the two.
I'm predicting, Double or Nothing 2022, Wardlow vs MJF, Wardlow wins, he's free from MJF'S contract!! 😀 😀
well said didn't thought that but it would be awesome 🔥 🔥 🔥
That's not a spoiler, that's all we know
I agree with you, I feel like that MJF will cost him the title. Wardlow didn't choose the right time to turn his back on MJF.
You kno wat I can see that happening possible he might interfere next week
He knows how to work with crowd.
When to increase his volume to cheer up crowd and when to keep it a bit serious.
I need to get myself ready for more promos of him.
He is going to cut far better promos than this and with the physique of him and his promos ability, he can create a great character.
And character is the most important thing in pro wrestling. In ring ability can fluctuate but once your character is matured the only thing you are gonna see is success
I’ve said it from day 1. Give Wardlow a couple of years in AEW and he will be a massive star. It’s happening. This means WAR
Didn't expected this kind of aggressive promo from Wardlow
Can’t wait For wardlow Vs Scorpio sky for the TNT championship! I bet he’s worked hard for this moment and he deserves it!
Expect mjf or spears to cost him the match.
I figured that Sky would be a transitional champion. Wardlow should beat Scorpio Sky. But MJF is lurking.
@@edalder2000 Sky is keeping the title. Between Men of the year/American Top Team & MJF/Spears there's too much interference
Scorpio Sky deserves better than a "transitory" Championship...
That being said- a TNT Title vs Contract match with MJF is most likely eventual- especially if The Pinnacle interferes next week.
@@edalder2000 scorpio deserves better than to be a transitional champ imo
Thats The Wardlow i wanted to see, He has His own Agenda Now can be a Great Main Eventer for the AEW Title, as a Face/Heel!
It's Wardlow's World, we're all just living in it!
MJF is going to cost Wardlow the TNT title.
I hope so.
Warlow will NEVER win a title before MJF.
Duh
Yep!
Wardlow will win the TNT title then MJF will take it from him. It's in his contract that any title Wardlow wins is legally MJF's property
It's good that he performs at the stick well. I was honestly worried about that, but he did good. And with the talent in the locker room, he'll only get better.
Wardlow: "I AM FINALLY FREE!!!"
Me: It's about Damn Time!!!!! 👏👏👏
Congratulations Wordlow You made a good decision for yourself and for your family. You are a Man of Honor
Good promo by Wardlow. Can’t wait to see him destroy MJF & Shawn Spears
Wardlow is probably my favorite active wrestler right now really. Glad to see this arc.
Wardlow's shirt looks cool. I want one.
What always got me about Wardlow is that his nonverbal expressions and body language told so much more than words. In kayfabe, Wardlow's mind was always working.
Good babyface promo. Wardlow has been brought along and the crowd loves him.
For reals!
I'm so happy for you Wardlow as you become your own Boss. Free Spirit always makes people proud at the End. Go Wardlow
I watched a Wardlow interview a month ago. I have been waiting for him to get to the point where he tells his story in the ring. He spoke about his life and goals for the future. I see him achieving everything he plans including being a major Hollywood star. He has that IT Factor and he is a good talker and actor.
He gonna be a massive Babyface 🔥💯 Wardlow the Monsta
I would love to hear JR say these words again "The Beast Has Been Unleashed" to Wardlow.
I never realized how much wardlow sounds like samoa joe. Congrats to this guy for finally getting his singles run without mjf
That makes the two of us 🤔 they sound same
Joe is more commanding and aggressive
@@herculez6087 Joe had to grow into it himself. Give Wardlow time and he will too.
@@gregpickett8816 all lies Samoa Joe was always a good talker and wrestler the only time he was green was early on in WWF vs Essa Rios
There are so many messages Wardlow threw in his promo that I hope people hear and put into their own lives 💯
Agreed
I like how they didn’t make it about good/evil it’s more about “it’s my time to shine.” Hopefully they don’t rush it he still needs to build his character more into a singles character instead of a faction.
Better than any Hangman promo, give this man the belt
Isnt that the truth? The fake cowboy cant cut a promo to save his life.
Count me among the folks who are utterly shocked that War's got this level of talent on the mic. Reminds me of Batista, though he didn't get to this point as a storyteller until well into his career.
As Corney says, it could use a bit more bass, but this is pretty damn impressive for his first time in the spotlight.
MJF vs Wardlow gonna be so good
Wardlow has potential and the IT factor to become a legend in the business 💯
The Maestro of Mayhem! It was his first promo so he has some kinks to work out but I thought it was pretty good
This is a good move for Wardlow's career. He has a lot of talent and it's good to finally see him step out from MJF's shadow. He deserves the spotlight.
I bet he feels good 👍 🤣 about now becoming a baby face 👼 I bet he will have a great rivalry with MJF .
I feel this guy. Go man! Live your life at your own terms.
Powerbomb symphony for each pinnacle member
Starting with Chair Spears.
not many left now, with revival turning as well
Sounds like The Pinnacle are imploding, FTR fires Tully Blanchard, Wardlow turns Babyface, i agree, a Powerbomb Symphony for every Pinnacle member, MJF needs a special one :
Powerbomb in the ring
Powerbomb on the steps
Powerbomb through a table
😀 😀 😀
Yes! This is awesome! I'm excited for his babyface run!! He has Became a favorite of mines
We have been waiting for this!!!
Finally .
The era of power bomb symphony begins!!!
Seeing Diesel / Shawn Michaels vibes in this programme, can't wait to see this storyline evolve. I potentially see MJF winning the AEW World title at some stage next year, and Wardlow will be the one to beat him and become the world champ
Thought wardlow was a meathead. He’s actually good on the mike, articulate and has potential to be a well rounded superstar. Rooting for him
Dude can jaw. Flippin superstar. Can’t wait to see this man rise.
Man, Wardlow can give a solid promo. Push this guy!!!
This is genuinely one of the best Promo's I've seen.
You Really don't want to poke this bear....
I know some people have been hating on the promo, but I don't care. I like Wardlow. I'm excited to see him on his own
Why? He did awesome.
@@ash80510 I agree. But there are people who nitpick the mixed delivery, a few slipped lines. I think this might have been his first major promo, so that's to be expected
@@ash80510 His voice doesn't match his look. Same problem as Brock.
@@Kratosx23 yeah thats true. Don't think its that bad for a face. Wouldn't work if he became heel again
People who hate and nitpick, can stick it.
Well worth the wait to hear him cut a live promo finally. Should've been a top 5 moment of the week in my opinion. Kudos to the man 🤌👏
I see the future coming to AEW. Wardlow you're about to became a megastar my man go and fight your way to the top baby you fought your way through the door
This promo was amazing. He speaks so well and clear.
Love the promo but how many times are we gonna see Schivanoe stand like an idiot in the ring 😂
His voice sounds so comforting
Love AEW promos man. Another good one here
Such an energy ride to hear him expel so much truth. Wardlow is officially unleashed.
Feel like this is going to be like that first Batista singles run against evolution. All for it.
That's the idea I was getting as well
bro yes batista 2.0 wardlow is batista
@@mista8954 nah 3.0 Mason Ryan did it first but failed
@@troylandzerep8045 your LITERALLY the only person to say that 😆
And with this promo, Wardlow has become my NEW favorite wrestler
Wardlow is future champion for sure. Feels like MJF is going to cost Wardlow the match...
He made himself human and made it easier for fans to sympathize with him by telling his real life story while also sympathizing with them when asking them to forgive him for associating himself with MJF for the last 2 and a half years
Wardlow: "I would love to Powerbomb Max til he can't move..."
Me: That will be the Greatest Powerbomb Symphony ever!!!! 😃
We've all been waiting a long time for this moment and its playing out wonderfully. Wardlow is straight up money. The guy can wrestle and he can obviously promo cuz this segment was gold. I'm looking forward to seeing what the future bring for Wardlow
Wooow!!! Wardlow can TALK!!!! HE'S A great talker,, now have to see how's he in the promo battle ,, if he ever goes one one one with mjf,, . I think mjf gonna screw next week
Man can talk! We’re watching something special here. Wardlow is a star
WARDLOW IS A MONSTER!!!
Dude! I haven't loved a wrestler this much since Jeff Hardy back in '99. Wardlow4Life yo!
Fantastic promo and delivery even with the little screw ups he had
