I live in Dallas, Texas where we're lucky to get one snowfall per year and it's always like an inch. Interestingly enough Dallas is about 1200 miles straight south from Winnipeg.

My friends from other countries ask me if we put chain around our tires while driving in winter in MB 😀 I always tell them just our good ole winter tires that takes us home 😅 …..only we the drivers here know how treacherous it gets here in winter. I live in the mountain part of California and last November we had a big snow storm for I think 3 days straight its nuts I would also like to visit winnapeg someday
Should have done this at the end of January when the snow banks are taller than your car and the ruts so deep you can't steer while the bottom of your car is being scraped off. Gotta love Winnipeg. Love that that one car goes through a red at 4:30 in front of a cop and the cop does nothing. All things forgiven in snow.
I guess we have this to look forward to again. haha Thanks for the drive, it was nice. It was so snowy that I could barely see the Golden Boy. What happened at 19 mins? you stopped at the red light then went through it? haha
I'm the happiest when it's +30 C or more!! haha We already have snow and I'm cranky. lol I gotta change my attitude or it's going to be a very long Winter here in Winnipeg. lol
We have snow on the ground already. It's Nov 23rd. 2019. We had a massive snowfall Oct 11th and our trees still had so many leaves on them that many of our wonderful 100 plus old trees split and broke from the weight of the snow. I lost 2 trees in my front yard. Usually, we hope that the snow will come after Halloween and we have snow often until the end of April early May. :)
@@brettthomas5605 I am from Athens, Greece and I have to say that Canadians are the most polite people I've known! Canada is such a beautiful country and Winnipeg is magnificent! I wish I could visit there one day...
It's not as bad as the guy @4:30 who enters the intersection on a red light and tries to turn the wrong way on a one-way street. Then he goes straight ahead through the intersection in the wrong lane just as a police car is leaving the downtown police station. (lol).

I love that the drivers are experienced and know exactly how to drive in winter conditions.
Usually a bunch of fender benders during first few snowfalls and then everybody's back in winter driving mode.

Winters are so cold in Winnipeg that even the Golden Boy goes inside! Lol
