👉 STOP wasting money with Google Ads & learn how to optimise your Google Ads campaign CORRECTLY with my FREE Google Ads Optimisation Checklist: www.definedigitalacademy.com/google-ads-checklist
Hi Aaron! I'm new. Tell me please. I have a question about setting up conversions (online store). What is the best way to set up a conversion? On clicking the "Buy" / "Add to cart" button or on the page after placing an order? Or these two actions at once? Thanks a lot for your answer
Man, I've been trying to follow every actionable step, but I cannot increase the Quality Score. My Ad Relevance is above average. Landing Page Experience is above average. All ad copy is considered "Excellent." However, the 'Estimated CTR" is still "below average" which is damaging my total Quality Score &, thus, leaving me out of a ton of high quality searches. I had a Google Ads Rep tell me to do some goofy stuff over the past year & I think it has damaged the momentum of the entire account. Do you think that my campaigns have been "poisoned" by recent bad or historically bad performance? Do you suggest completely rebuilding each "old" campaign & relaunching it as a new one to ditch the historically bad "estimated CTR" now that I've made positive adjustments?
Thanks for the video! I have a question: what if my campaign was brand awareness and I pay for impressions, when does Google get paid? When people click or when they see my ad only?
Thanks for posting all these great videos! I have probably that I think other people might be experiencing and would love to know your thoughts. I created and ad and I've been seeing this screen for several weeks, "Good news! Your ads have been approved Your ads are now eligible to start running. Once your ads get impressions, you'll see your results here." My thought was that I had too many and too broad negative key words so I drastically reduced them, it's only been a day since I've done that but do you think the problem my not be with my negative key words but something else?
For some reason I am not seeing this inside of my modify columns area. I search for those metrics and I do not see those. I also do not see search keywords, I just see search terms.
@@AaronYoungGoogleAds Yeah so I called Google Ads dept. and they told me it was because I am running a shopping campaign and not a search text campaign. Thank you for the response though.
Hi Aaron.. Thanks for the video, it's really helpfull.. Btw, I've some trouble reargding bidding lately.. I've been using target CPA for the past few months for bidding.. Those few months went smoothly and quite a lot of conversions came in.. But last 1 month some new bigger competitors entered google ads ads, some old players also seem to start increasing their budgets. This has resulted in a decrease in our ad position and sharp decline in the number of clicks, CTR, and our conversions in the last month (though my ad still have good quality the score). I've tried to increase the CPA target referring to the cost/conversion last 1-2 months, but after 2 weeks running, it didn't raise my ad position.. Do I need to remove my CPA target to adapt current condition?
Hey Aaron- Thanks to you I just discovered these three new metrics, which he agency we have been working with has never bothered to mentioned. However, apart from the branded campaigns, I don't see any data under these columns. What do you make of that please?
Do you have ads targeting blocks of keyword groups? For instance you have skip bin [city] so do you have one ad for just that keyword and then it also contains some of your generic keywords and then that goes to a specific landing page about skip bins for hire in that city? that's the only way I can think that you can get such great quality scores across all those keywords
It is all in the video; can see around 6:15 the ads and then he shows you the full list of keywords that are targeting and showing for those ads. That list of keywords on the screen is all for the same ad. The dynamic keyword insertion tool means there is little need for single keyword ads anymore as Google will capture themes not just words now so far less ad groups are needed and ad groups can capture alot more searches.
@@tomhoward5000 I'm asking more in reference to raising ad quality scores. If you have lots of keywords like he does here I can't imagine you have one or two ads that covers the entire lot and has a good quality scores. Or am I overthinking
@@ericcathell6407 I think overthinking..worry about the big picture than little details like that; if your keywords are over 5/10 then I wouldn’t worry, as long as you are getting sales then all good 🤙
Great video except they literally have hidden the entire Keywords tab and so many others from my platform. Doesn't look like I can get it back either. It also won't show me the metrics like ad rank quality score. So sick of google.
To improve CTR, add keywords what have been added in the same campaign with relevant CTAs and A/B test to see which ad would perform best and edit the ad which did not perform well to add the text which did well in the ad which performed well

How do I find the keyword menu on a smart campaign?

Hi Andrew for what type of campaign?

How do I know where my clicks are coming from in Performance Max campaigns?

Why I am getting QS for few keywords as 7/10 , 8/10 ? The landing page exp and ad relevance are above average for those respective KWs

very good information. thanks.
Thanks
That's disappointing. My niche is not listed among the DataStream reports. Could've been a good resource.
Hi! I clicked on your video go get tips on how to "Increase the Click Through Rate for Google Ads" Your video didn't include a single tip about that.

Bro can you help me please
To improve CTR, you can improve relevancy of Ad copies with appropriate CTAs in the ad copy
I don’t even see the same things like you do 😢
