उत्तरप्रदेश मे इलाहाबाद में गंगा, यमुना और अदृश्य सरस्वती के संगम पर चल रहे महाकुंभ मेले में विदेशी महिला नागा साधु आकर्षण के केन्द्र में है। यह जानते हुए भी कि नागा बनने के लिए कई कठिन प्रक्रिया और तपस्या से गुजरना होता है विदेशी महिलाओं ने इसे अपनाया है।
फ्रांस की कोरिने लियरे हाल ही में नागा साधु बनी है। उन्हें नया नाम दिव्या गिरी दिया गया है। वह कहती है कि अब हमारी नई पहचान है। दिव्या ने 2004 में साधु की दीक्षा ली। उन्होंने इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ पब्लिक हेल्थ एंड हाइजिन, नई दिल्ली से मेडिकल टेक्नीशियन की पढ़ाई पूरी की है।
उनका कहना है कि महिलाएं कुछ चीजे अलग से करना चाहती है। जूना अखाड़े के इष्टदेव भगवान दत्तात्रेय है। हम अपना इष्टदेव दत्तात्रेय की मां अनुसूया को बनाना चाहते हैं।
