The sense of raw humor between Jeremy and his mother is fantastic. I know this scene is about 10/15 years old, but you can clearly see how these people are fond of one another.
Your profile picture, huh it just felt so nostalgic seeing the pagani zonda, the same picture i saw 7 years ago when i was younger, have it as a wallpaper on my old intel atom notebook, god i miss the good old days
My great grandfather was a millionaire doctor who did lots of charity for children. His wife and 6 children were left destitute after all the people that owned him debts refused to pay and every debt he owed was suddenly demanded paid by his widow.
interesting continuity at 4:54, jumps mother's house in Nottinghamshire straight into Chipping Norton Oxfordshire, whilst heading off to Yorkshire in a jump worthy of kevin Costner in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves :D
According to wiki it was lost in a court case over the chimneys interfering with the clean air he is a great-great-great-great grandson of John Kilner. China is producing the Ravenhead name of the jar now.
The pottery factory is down road from me sadly all gone now only the quarry face it was built in is left and now there's a bridge there now still can find bits and Bob's down there tho
My ancestors were Kilners, my grandma was a Kilner, from Yorkshire but I don't think I have a connection to the famous Kilner jar family lol, maybe a remote connection possibly.
i was born & bred in the rotherham area of south yorkshire and went metal detecting in conisborough castle grounds in the 80's when i was a kid. Found an early 20th century silver shilling as well.
These Victorian era millionaires were very interesting. That whole era was. The architecture, the atmosphere, the raw capitalism. Now you get people getting stupendously rich who never even were desperate to be rich.
My Great Great Great Grandfather is a a Ghost , at the Homestead Inn in Bracebridge Heath in Lincolnshire. Not much of a claim to Fame . But the saying goes there's always Ghost somewhere in your family .
Shirley Gabrielle Clarkson passed away in April 2014, 1 year before Clarkson's row with the BBC. Based on Wikipedia information, this was filmed in 2008. "Shirley returned briefly to Home Farm and Burghwallis in June 2008 to film a piece for the BBC TV One Show to coincide with the launch of the book."
Was enjoying this, till he started on Staffordshire. And did anyone notice, as he waved his Mum tara, he didn't say Love you? Or am I the only one that did that?
People saying there family’s was like millionaires and so on meanwhile mine on my dads side was just basically some of the worst criminals and on my mothers side was Scotland from Robert the Bruce
i think his mother got them mixed up, i googled it and mason jars are the screw ones whereas kilner jars are the latched sort, i’m from South Africa so we don’t get mason jars all that often, we use kilner jars most of the time
it's her honda jazz!
A jazz for a Jezza !
Exactly my thought!
Her jazz Is still on the road! It has valid MOT until the 19 of November 2021
@@JonasOnAutos Yup, I saw that! So is the Renault from the mum run
Jazz has now been exported ..

Were fond of one another. Unfortunately Jeremy Clarkson's mother passed away a few years ago.
Yeah this is from 2004 but sadly she passed away in April 2014
"I've come to pick your brains before senility takes you in the night."😂
“It’s got me it’s too late” 🤣🤣
For a brief second I thought it was Jeremy and Elton John…
Roderickmoose I thought for a second it was James May and Jeremy Clarkson
Haha you're not the only one
Or one of the beejees
Or mason verger? From silence of the lambs!
... Hot
I can't help but laugh at the thought of having Jeremy Clarkson as a son :D
Lol
Thank you mother for giving us such an amazing person and the most lovely guy in the world
"She was a right old c**t"
Yup, that's definitely his mom.
His mum was such a sweetheart RIP 😢
RIP Mrs. Clarkson.
For a moment the thumbnail looked like Jermy Clarkson and Bernie Eccelstone.
I thought it was Elton John
She's so much at once: Elton John, James May and Bernie Eccelstone.
You can really see the family resemblance here.
Your profile picture, huh it just felt so nostalgic seeing the pagani zonda, the same picture i saw 7 years ago when i was younger, have it as a wallpaper on my old intel atom notebook, god i miss the good old days
Hell yeah youtube recommendations
weird isn't it
its been a while since that moms race on top gear
Mum
Mum you baboon
I am surprised that Jeremy did not comment on the colour of his mother's car :)
As a proud Yorkshireman, I agree that Jeremy is correct about Nottinghamshire and Staffordshire.
A big F and respect for his mom, she's truly a legend
Man he’s aged. Still love him tho.
He lives a high octane lifestyle
Nathan Bell I.E he’s an alcoholic
It was 2004. You've aged too.
man age in 20 years
Chase Blasser let's put it another way, he's not aged well. 😶
Lovely to see Jeremy with his Mum. Glad to see he's interested in his ancestry. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks RUclips suggestions
"The first sign of a wet cushion in our house - and we'd push her off Beachy Head" HAHA!
Clarkson mom is the embodiment of Clarkson
Hi how are you doing today???
My great grandfather was a millionaire doctor who did lots of charity for children. His wife and 6 children were left destitute after all the people that owned him debts refused to pay and every debt he owed was suddenly demanded paid by his widow.
He sounds like a good man.
Aww… your great grandfather sounds like such a wonderful guy! I can’t believe everyone refused to pay him back and then his widow demanded payment! 😧
You mean his widow demanded payment from the people who owed him before he died?? A dead man cannot pay to his widow?? lol
I thought I was clicking on clarkson interviewing Elton John when I saw the thumbnail
It is so weird watching something with Mr. Clarkson, without him being the narrator.
yeah
interesting continuity at 4:54, jumps mother's house in Nottinghamshire straight into Chipping Norton Oxfordshire, whilst heading off to Yorkshire in a jump worthy of kevin Costner in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves :D

"Ravenhead", is that Ravenscroft by any chace? That was their seal once the glass stopped cracking. If so, that could just be the name and seal.
The pottery factory is down road from me sadly all gone now only the quarry face it was built in is left and now there's a bridge there now still can find bits and Bob's down there tho
Could we get one with James May and Richard Hammond?
"She was a right old cu----" 😂
cow but means the same thing
Smokers whole family can hear on mother's voice
And?
My ancestors were Kilners, my grandma was a Kilner, from Yorkshire but I don't think I have a connection to the famous Kilner jar family lol, maybe a remote connection possibly.
JC should get a Kilner set and start using it on his farm
i was born & bred in the rotherham area of south yorkshire and went metal detecting in conisborough castle grounds in the 80's when i was a kid.
Found an early 20th century silver shilling as well.
His mother looks younger than he does.
What a fabulous woman.
Spirited ! the language she used about her grandmother Kilner !!
His mum seems really nice.
Mom's side of the family were coffin makers, and farmers. Dad's were bowl makers, and poets. And every one that wasn't was a soldier or a coal miner.
Are you talking about your family?
Anyone else think that was Elton john
No,just you.
same
or Scotty Kilmer
I'm the only one who thought he was talking with Bernie Ecclestone in the thumpnail?
I would love Jeremy’s mother, tells it how it is.🤣🤣
It's just the North
Thought that was Berni Eclestone
When clarkson still spoke with a posh voice! lol - Pre 2005!
These Victorian era millionaires were very interesting. That whole era was. The architecture, the atmosphere, the raw capitalism. Now you get people getting stupendously rich who never even were desperate to be rich.
His mum created the most masculin car journalist....... IN THE WOOOOORRRLLD!
Jeremy’s mother looks very young.
Roger Daltrey is looking sharp these days
She’s amazing!
1:30 I LOVE Mrs Clarkson XD
1:30 Hell Yeah! She is 100% Jeremy's mom. LOL
Mrs Clarkson looks a lot like Scotty Kilmer
Rev up your engines
Scotty kilner
@@tantosendjaja8438 scotty clarkson
Is a Kilner jar like a Mason or Ball jar for putting up preserves, jams pickles etc. ??
Yes, same concept, but Kilner patented his design well before Mason. To avoid the patent Mason made the lid out of metal.
Dang he pulled out a map. I can remember doin that with my parents. Until map quest came along. You miss a turn though your screwed
Yeah, I remember printing out directions and I’m Gen Z! 😅
I am currently very confused because the narrator sounds EXACTLY like my history teacher... lol
I know it’s been said before, but it is ironic and sweet that Clarkson has truly gone back to his roots and is harvesting barley now.
My grandfather's family were rich and no one knows what happened to the money it's common thing to happen
Lmao jeremy is always such a clown but he has so much respect for his mom.
Who woul have thought, james may is Jeremy´s mother😂
Jeremy looks older than his mum.
"Giraffe " 😂😂
Jeremy’s Mum sounds like a wise woman.
That thumbnail made me think that was Scotty Kilmer omg I’m dumb
My Great Great Great Grandfather is a a Ghost , at the Homestead Inn in Bracebridge Heath in Lincolnshire. Not much of a claim to Fame . But the saying goes there's always Ghost somewhere in your family .
when did this come out?
2004
❤️ Thank You ❤️
Unless someone in the family has a n interest in this subject, it all fades away pretty quickly. We are lucky to have had one or two.
Don’t care.
Sam Ludendorff Yeah, me neither- hence the outcome.

Clarkson is so funny!
what his mother describes is a Mason Jar, the jar that one boils, as opposed to the flip lid jar, which I first saw in France.
If i ever see Jeremy Clarkson’s mother, ill give her a tomica honda jazz.
She's long gone
It is that the place of Clarkson farm where is mother was living?
0:38 Why does his mother sound like she's one of the "The Muppets"?
Kilner Jars in America are known as Mason Jars.
Killner jars would have been less profitable as fridges and freezers became in use, people start buying prepackaged fruit and preserves......
they seem like the same age
Mum lives like a queen. no worries!
2 November 2004
i live in whitwood ahahaha
A little weird that I was a few months old when this was filmed
Everytime I see the thumbnail I keep thinking its bernie Eccelstone
up the donny boys
and i thought his accent was thick
Varry niace😂
People saying there family’s was like millionaires and so on meanwhile mine on my dads side was just basically some of the worst criminals and on my mothers side was Scotland from Robert the Bruce
Who knew Mick Jagger was Jezza's Mum?
@John Cena Tbf, it could be Andy Warhol...
The ‘Kilmer’ jar Clarkson showed us was an American ‘Mason’jar
Sorry, I spelled‘Kilner’ wrong
i think his mother got them mixed up, i googled it and mason jars are the screw ones whereas kilner jars are the latched sort, i’m from South Africa so we don’t get mason jars all that often, we use kilner jars most of the time
i watched further on, yes the kilners made a screw top like his mother had said but idk why when i googled it, it showed me those latch types
Is Liam Neeson the Narrator ?
David morrissey
Sean bean
This video feels jarring for some reason. It really jars, doesn't it?
Boo!
I got on RUclips to get away from my dad's jokes.
a social Animal 🎉❤
Confident that he's a descendant of a very long line of arses.
hi
Come on Jeremy buy your Mum a new car
Clarkson, many pies ago.
How dare Clarkson insult Staffordshire like that!!
Very rarely you can see that mother ans son look the same age.
Be honest you all thought this was top gear didn’t u
Clarksons family is from Nottingham, never would think
you've never heard the story about the Porsche 928?
Never mind your mother Jeremy, you can't event remember to put your seatbelt on before you start driving

She Sounds like a posh Marge Simpson
