I feel like the MCU can reboot the X-Men like this. They just have to put their heart and soul while keeping true to the comics and it could be really good.
This movie wasn't made but they still told Magneto's story in the first class movie. I would've liked to see Gambit Origins though he was always my favourite!
there were so many cancelled FOX X Men movies and out of all of them, this is literally the only one I would have liked to see, the cancelled Origins trilogy

I think you may be the first person who’s said something about that. I appreciate the love! The idea of doing the album covers was actually one of the first ideas I had for the show, I felt like showing albums from the year that’s being discussed makes it so much easier for people to envision the context and time period that the development was happening!

Its cool to know that if someone really wanted to, we have enough of the original Magneto Origins story in scenes from other xmen movies to splice together a fancut version. Wouldn't be perfect, but could be a cool watch and a nice alternate cut to First Class.
Considering that First Class is my favorite X-men movie, and Days of Future Past is my second favorite, I am pretty satisfied with how these events played out.

If I remember right, I believe that the script spelled his name as Dr. Kleinmein- I believe that he (along with most of the characters that aren’t immediately recognizable like Xavier, Eric, and Senator Kelly) was a character created specifically for the movie!

Well to be fair X-Men origins Wolverine was intended to be the beginning of an X-Men origins film series to be followed up by x-men origins:magneto, x-men Origins: Deadpool, and x-men Origins:gambit. But it was unfortunately canceled and scrapped after X-Men origins Wolverine was a box office bomb let’s just say in an alternate reality X-Men origins Wolverine was a success here’s what would be X-Men origins film series would’ve looked like in my opinion. Only dumb thing are the super twins in the final battle there was something similar in the scrapped 2004 Batman vs Superman script the joker just has a couple random super powered henchmen in the final battle too
I was 20 years old in the 2000's when the first X-Men film was released. And been a fan of Marvel for years prior as well as Spawn back then in the day. Comic books, games, anime series you name it. As we all were. X-Men 2000 (the movie) set that bar for superhero movies. Before X-Men superhero movies had been almost forgotten since the Batman movies from 1989 until the mid 1990s that nobody really cared about.. (Batman and Robin?..... really...)... Nobody thought that X-Men could be filmable,,, To much lore too many characters, yadda yadda yadda. But long and behold it worked. But X-Men origins: Wolverine?.... One of the worst "superhero" films i have ever seen. The entire film was also leaked onto RUclips back in 2010 - 2011. And in 2024 with all the Avengers movies and Marvel and DC and this and that... Do ppl really care about origin stories?..... I do not think so. I think after 20+ years... We are superhero movied out. Does anyone care about Deadpool 3?... You know its going to be more of the same that we already seen. Like Rambo and Rocky..... Just keep on milking it. Anyway thanks for the vid. .

First Class was pretty much a Magneto origin story. I really liked the opening mirrors X=men where we see young Erik at the gate using his powers.

I believe it’s Agent Graves- Owen Shaw is a character from first class who is very similar to Kleinmein’s character in this unproduced movie.
