I like the new design of his first costume, especially the web shooters and the tank of web fluid strapped to his lower back. It shows that he hasn't figured out how to machine Web cartridges. It's a progression, as the tubes and tank limit his mobility a bit, and they are also a hazard in case one of the bad guys he's fighting grabs one of them, and either pulls him in or yanks it out. The tank itself would restrict movement, and it too, can be punctured, releasing the web fluid and create one huge mess of webs once the formula comes into contact with oxygen. It will be cool seeing him trying to figure out the kinks in his costume and arsenal going forward in the series. Plus, this is the first Spider-Man animated series where we'll see Peter wear glasses all the time. I hope that they reach a point where he realizes the spider bites also increased his eye muscles, making his vision 2020 without the need of the glasses.
At first this series would be a part of Earth-616 as a prequel of Spider-Man Tom Holland but they changed it into alternative universe by a concept “What If…? Norman Osborn is Spider-Man mentor instead of Tony Stark”
My 7-year-old nephew's going to love the hell out of this show (and I likely will, too). Surprising to see them swing for the fences and cast Colman Domingo as Norman Osborn, but he'll bring some dramatic heft to the role.
@@goldsearcher7606 it looks like the anti-venom suit from the spiderman 2 game. but in the 1st game, the exact suit in the trailer was the future foundation suit.
Definitely was supposed to connect to Spider-Man 4 with daredevil and kingpin being the og plot but we now gotta wait til spiderman 5 but at least we get the daredevil and spiderman stuff here and probably avengers since they share a city I assume they would be working together in both movies
This is the first time I’ve ever seen an animated comic book series that actually looks like a Silver Age comic come to life. Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko would stand and applaud at this.
I like the trailer is fun gives us just enough to get invested, the art work is smooth the dialogue of a young highschool kid is spot on. Yeah a reaction to this show would be cool 😊

If Peter is now Spider-Man, then why is he still wearing eyeglasses ? In the early comics and even in the Toby Maguire first film, once he got his powers his eyesight got better. Aunt May is not elderly. That's Harry Osborne he saves from getting run over. I'm hoping there is no Ned in this series.

So the suit that Peter Parker wears at the end of the trailer is the Future Foundation Suit, but I won’t say how he got it.

This is set in an alternate timeline.
There already is a season 2 confirmed, that’s why they changed it from spiderman freshmen years to this it was just going to be Tom’s origin a one off
