Hey everyone. Just a warning, I wasn't able to test every monster in the game, so if you see some inconsistencies, please let me know, it's most likely to do with the wrong modifiers being applied. Also. Alliance boss 20% damage. Modifiers appear to be working for lvl1 and lvl 2. I couldn't verify lvl3 yet. So either Evony recently fixed it, or it only doesn't work on lvl 3. I will continue to update the monster simulator as I discover any other discrepancies.
This is top teir stuff. I appreciate having a rough idea of the time involved including gaining the knowledge to know how to do this stuff, not just the videos! Expert at Excel right here. You must have done it for work or school for years. Asset of the Evony community, this man must be protected at all costs! lol
I appreciate the feedback. I am self taught on excel and if you look at how messy the formulas are, you may get an idea of that. Evony mechanics are just a riddle I would like to solve, but it has also pushed me to learn more in excel, coding, video editing, ect. If you ever have advice on how I can improve these spreadsheets, I will always welcome the help. Thanks again
@@DerrickDefies Impressive. I used excel on a weekly or daily basis for multiple years and 3 years of electrical engineering in college although it wasn't straight and as consistent usage during those 5 or so years in total, I never got that good at excel. There's sooooo many ever increasing functions in that program. It really is an amazing thing that skill can automatically be recognized of by a spreadsheet. Great work man, keep it up!!!
I am glad its useful. And you are right. That was something I was considering, But I just opted to make a list of numbers I use the most often. That is how I am able to remember 706 and 491 for alliance boss and Cerberus.
I was trying on Lava Turtles 2 and didn't get zero but still a very useful tool. Is Cerberus the best monster to test with? I also used the World Boss to come up with initial figures.
There are many factors at play. Its very easy to miss one detail (I have messed up this simulator many times) But even so, it should still spit out an approximate value. I am glad you find it useful
ive noticed that with this single troop attack. this is also effected by monarch gear. so will your effective damage go up using the regular gear since it gives you that base stat, vs using the new attacking gear that only gives you percentages
No. The regular gear gives you a boost in flat stats and Percent stats. So lets say it gives your troops +100 attack and +20% attack. If the base attack for the troop is 1000. This would add 200 (from the percent) and 100 (from the flat) giving you a total 1000+200+100 =1300 Attack. The flat would be better for a T1 with a base attack of 100.
@@DerrickDefies sure so would you be willing to make a video based on cut offs for flat to percentage based statistics. And when the cut off happens? If you take a fresh keep and look at t14-15 Cav those numbers are way lower than if you had 200m tech looking at the same troops base stats in the troop making buildings. Also have you tested flat stats on t11 siege bombs vs percentages?
thanks for the work derrick, the attack calculator works great, but i'm having a problem where the HP calculator tells me i have 14600% buffs in hp on my mounted... considering my battle report in PvP says i have 504%, that seems rather drastic. i have double, tripple, and quadruple-checked every possibly wrong input i might have given it, but i can't seem to find anything that would suggest it should multiply my actual mounted hp buff by somewhere around 15-20 times.
Make a new copy of the simulator. It appears I shared the wrong version when I uploaded this video. (You would need to multiply the wounds by 10x and I fixed it) Also if you are using the monarch talent to reduce wounds, multiply your wounds x2 before using the sim. If that doesn't work, @me in discord and we can take a look at it together.
Do you think it would be possible to reverse engineer using a known boss and what your min troops need to kill a boss. For example, if I can kill a sphinx 3 with 750 t12, calculate that number ass "boss killing capability" and then apply that to other bosses to calculate there theoretical mins.. The tool is great but when trying to figure out different generals, gear and refines it can be a bit much for my small brain, lol.
Yes. If you know the exact number of troops to kill a boss you can reverse engineer the exact attack buffs you have. But...making a function for that would be time consuming. I suggest hitting the alliance boss with all your general combinations. The 20% apparently now works with the level 3 boss. My simulator is made to be extremely accurate, but some people are making others that might be more user friendly.

Mulțumim!
Whoa! Thanks a lot!
@@DerrickDefies You did a great work. Thank you!
watching this gives me an ultimate joy lol. great job! 👏🏽
Glad it's useful for you!
Thanks for the data Derrick. Nice attack buff by the way.
Love the spreadsheet. A nice addition would be for the monster look up to also include name in dropdown. My tests on Cerberus are accurate ❤

I'll have to try this out, so I don't keep using ramune while figuring out if I can kill something 😂

Thanks. I realized I must have messed that up. Here is the permanent one.

Do subs enter the equation? Such as Japan
ofcource
sometimes that skill reducing twice wounded works, sometimes not, which is strange
