Joe Haley is such a masterful guitarist I don't know how he always manages to make these riffs that are like deceptively simple, complex, fun, and prog at the same time. ngl I hadn't heard of Vampire Squid before this cover was recommended to me but I'm super glad I checked out the Bandcamp because Reinventing the Eel about to be my gym soundtrack for the next few weeks.
