Another great video! Man I tell ya, I have been a avid user of megs super degreaser...this works just as well, at half the price. So for me it has definitely been great! I save alot of money using a foaming can in the engine bay vs MSD which is double the cost per gallon.
I was able to find the Super Clean Foaming degreaser at PEP Boys with an online coupon this week. I do prefer the spray can for engine bay detailing as you demonstrated here.
I am in the hvac industry and I use foaming evaporator coil cleaner and it works great! Not too harsh but cleans great. Much like the superclean you have in the video.
Cleans the worst tires better than anything I diluted it 1-1 for tires and 3-1 for door jambs and engine bays. I used a foamer trigger on my bottle worked pretty good. I get Meguiars super degreaser for $16 a gal for pro detailer price and this is half that.
Have you done a video on Top Coat F11? What are your thoughts about that product? BTW: love your videos. I've watched several different individuals and to me you are by far the most informed and professional. You're top in the industry! Thanks.
Have u done a video on the speedy brite? If so I have not seen that one...I have however seen your video for the non-acid wheel cleaner by nanoskin...really anxious to try out the speedy brite but cant justify paying 18.00 shipping
Hey Brian I am thinking about buying a gallon of Nanoskin Speedy Brite wheel cleaner but noticed the shipping is as much as the product do you happen to know a code for shipping?
Several people on RUclips, including Scotty Kilmer, say never to put water in the engine compartment at all. Especially a pressure washer. That you will get water in the electronics and cause terrible problems. I live on a dirt road and my engine compartment on my 2004 Mercedes E class is filthy. I have been worried to clean it fearing problems. If I clean it with super clean and a stream of water from the garden hose, Should I worry I will cause problems?
Christopher Tapkins thanks for the reply. Do you use a air compressor or leaf blower or what to dry the engine? I just ordered some of this foaming spray degreaser from the link he supplied here. Advanced auto parts has it on sale for under $4.00 a can so I ordered a dozen cans. Take care
Tom- Most automotive manufactures use a dielectric grease in between many of the connectors and rubber seals, so a little water isn't going to hurt. However over time, these can break down and not insulate as well...especially with a more than 5-7 year old car. As long as you use common sense when cleaning a engine bay, you'll be fine. Take care if your plug wires or coil-on-plugs are exposed or unsealed where water can potentially collect in those areas and cause problems. I cover the alternator just as a precaution. I don't use a pressure washer in the engine bay but again, common sense should be used with any tool, and a very wide angle tip should be used from ample distance. Use a regular water hose with a nozzle that's controllable with flow and be sure not to leave the water spraying in one place for too long or too strong, keep it moving. You can either leave it open in the sun, or use some sort of compressed air or leaf blower. I use a rigid blower on my mobile details, works great! After its blown out well and you are confident with it, run the engine for about 2-3 minutes to dry things up some more and you should be good if you're worried about things being a little wet.
Tom ... these guys covered it well..you will be perfectly fine. Your common sense while rinsing will be all you need to safely get the job done. Give us feedback on how it worked for you! 👍🏻
Should you worry? Well, yes; you should. Especially with a pressure washer. How tightly sealed is your MAF sensor housing? Do you want to wash a bunch of dirt into that? How about your intake? Your camshaft position sensor QD fittings? Any old, creaky vacuum lines? Point is: if you know exactly what you’re doing, you’ll probably be fine. Probably. But if you don’t, and you ruin an electrical contact or get water down into somewhere it shouldn’t be, you’re asking for trouble. ESPECIALLY with a pressure washer. Those should NEVER see the engine compartment for obvious reasons.
Oh yeah, sure, just take a pressure washer to the inside of the engine compartment. Just cover the alternator. Gee, what could possibly go wrong? Stupid is as stupid does… 🤦🏻♂️

When you don't waste a drop ... thats huge!! Most cleaners end up on the shop floor! Great post👍🏻
This stuff is amazing and great for the price!
Jason Tubbs I totally agree... a great addition to any detailing arsenal!!👍🏻
A great comparison in general purpose cleaners would be Super Clean vs Mighty Boss vs Surfex

$6.99 in metro Detroit area Advance Autoparts. Hope Walmart starts stocking like they do some of Super Clean's other products.
Yeah... mine just started carrying the foamer degreaser👍🏻

Sounds like a beast of a cleaner... just pay attention to the rubber and plastics to make sure it not too harsh in those areas 👌🏻
Apex Detail Thank you Brian, the superclean is safe for rubber and plastics? Also much respect for your channel!
It is when needed. I would flush the area with fresh water when your cleaning is complete.
Thank you for your continued support of the channel!👌🏻

Indeed... the foamer is awesome in the door jams and trunk area!!👍🏻
I do the same with my little Toro leaf blower. Neighbors prob think I'm a weirdo when I dry my car off like that....work smart, not hard
Going to try and find some today, thanks for great video
Its practically everywhere in my area...Walmart, Homedepot, Parts stores.....It wasnt always that way.
I love that stuff !
Same here👍🏻
Wish we could get this in the UK.....a 5L bottle is £99 GBP on Amazon. Approx 120 USD....yes, you read that right.
Great video! ACE
Looks great!!! I have oil, grease and gunk all around valve cover and heads. Will this stuff work well in those areas? Thanks, Glen
Thanks man !!!

And the over spray while rinsing it off wont hurt or stain your paint if u rinse quickly?
If you had a extra foam cannon, could you use this product diluted with some water and apply foam? Or would that be too much?
You mentioned useing 2 other products with supper clean what are they?
Did the Airless have enough strength in pressure to rinse this off ?
Ever use your Krause and Becker under the hood?
How much is that per can?
Jimmy Johnson Under $4 in most areas!!! 👌🏻
Could you take the gallon and use 5-1 in I k 9 and produce the same foam?
Did you disconnect the battery?
Have u done a video on the speedy brite? If so I have not seen that one...I have however seen your video for the non-acid wheel cleaner by nanoskin...really anxious to try out the speedy brite but cant justify paying 18.00 shipping
Not yet. Will get to that soon👍🏻

Tom engines are made to get wet, as long as you are not dumping buckets of water on it and dry it off well before turning it on, it should be fine

Did anyone use this to clean the gas stove grits
Just Subbed 😎👍🏼
Complaining about 10 miles?
