I mean, 80% of the Avengers are superheroes which NEED CGI. Don’t tell me that you can do Hulk without CGI, or a fully functional, flying and repulsor firing Iron Man suit without CGI. Thor needs CGI as well for his lightning powers. Superhero films NEED CGI to work properly. Obviously they shouldn’t overdo it, which Marvel have been doing for a while.
What Rohit Shetty is making is an action film which has minimal CGI. Or even if it does we don’t see it. It’s an action comedy film which requires pure action and acting.
That’s like comparing apples to oranges, they are completely different films. There’s absolutely no point.
