no you literally fry these (can be spicy/unspicy) peppers in a good amount of oil and sprinkle some salt on top, make sure you cover them for a softer layered texture 😊
Some people believe when you cook chili with it stack, it wont give you any tummy-ache (soothing spiciness inside).
My adopt mom always put 1-2chili with it stack (and lose others), but my birth mother tell me if dont want to get stomach ache while eating spicy just throw it seeds.

May I know from which country you are?
I remember when I was still in college, my chinese friend invited us for lunch since their house is near at our school. And then they had this dish like fried chillies with soy sauce I think (I'm not sure actually), and his mom said it's good, since we're idiots who can't refuse we ate it and had to endure the pain until his parents finished eating. 😆

I'm from Philippines and I used to do this with chillies but my friends thinks I have a weird taste but I don't care because I loved it and I still do this kind of dishes until now.
