The Dorthy Hale suicide painting is owned by the Phoenix Art Museum. When I worked there as a Gallery Attendant for almost five years, I would always walk by the painting and be in awe at how powerful it is, even though it is so small. It is also under glass due to people attempting to damage it over the years. If you ever go to the Phoenix Art Museum Teresa it is definitely worth seeing! :)
I hope one day to have such a book with the history of your art, of all those mesmerizing works that leave me awake at night. You are so magnificent, you are definitely the person who makes me want to follow this path of art, thank you very much for making your existence this beautiful thing. 🐚☆
I love that you own a "tea table", instead of the usual. Same with just about everything you do, unconventional and unorthodox in terms of the "modern way". And it's very inspiring that you know your identity as an artist. Awrsome book also!Well done once again Teresa! Keep it up!! I was gna say, nice headband 😆 also, "Alpay Efe" did a portrait of her couple months ago, ot looked awesome!
I have been a fan of Frida since i was 16 im now 59, my study has prints of Frida on the walls and i have quite a few books about her, i had to get rid of a lot of books when i down sized from a house to a flat . One of my first jobs was as an artist painting pictures of British birds and flowers on china cups and plates . I had thought about buying that book but when i looked at it , i decided as i have most of the pictures in other books , the size of the book and the price put me off , your video was quite intersting .
Que maravilla de libro, imagino lo caro que es...solo nos queda navegar por la web y ver si hay tanto de Frida como en ese libro. Gracias por el video!!! Saludos desde Chile!!!
Thanks for sharing the unboxing. It's a gorgeous book! Just wondering if you ordered your copy from Amazon? I wonder if all their copies come in that original box which is good for storage and adds protection during shipping. I would hate to receive this book dented even in the slightest bit.
esos pendientes de mano se los regaló Picasso, ella tenía su mano enferma y en México llevan pequeñas esculturas de miembros enfermos a las iglesias para pedir su curación. Fue un guiño de Picasso hacia su cultura.
Ok, I get way too excited when I see a new T Oaxaca video. Lol! But I'm kinda conflicted. I love, Van Gogh, Kahlo, etc... but we know their art is technically flawed. It's a weird thing. We appreciate the art but are we wrong to say hey, the drawing is off? The curse of the modern representative artist I guess.

Fu*k it you convinced me to buy the book, well done.
Awesome video..can you give us a tour of your artbook library?
Ah thank you! The whole library? Well, I might need some finding for that. It’s huge and sprawling, as far as studio libraries go…
just bought this book. not yet opened.

It does come in a box!

This is a prized possession.
You follow Frida for years but you didn't know she had hand earrings on that painting used in the book cover? [confused]
She also didn't cross dress; she wore that suit once for that one photo session.
You haven't seen lots of her paintings and she didn't paint a whole lot, actually.
Have spent tens of thousands of hours admiring great art, learning about art and artists, and making art. I never thought Kahlo was much of an artist.

I used to have the same thoughts too, but now I know that all drawings are off in some way. It’s just a question of whether it is good or bad!
Good point.
