I’m so glad you went for my idea to try this custom brand. I wanted you to do it first, to see how it worked out. I just can’t wear most blazers, I have narrow shoulders, but a large bust and they are all designed for wide shoulders and a flat bust, like men’s.
This is a fabulous. So much easier to have clothes arrange fitted than spending a lot at a tailor
that trech coat is to die for! I loved how you chose that dress a real test of fitting and corret measurements! This was stunning and delightful! AH that Trench coat!! Ohly smokes! I loved the encluser you selected for the pants, as a plus size person, the smoothness of tht selection would be perfect for me!
I LOVE the jacket’s small pops of color from the pink thread! I also like that you’ve gotten several navy and navy print items! I’m tired of black and have realized that navy is actually more flattering to my aging skin tones. Thanks for the fun, classy ideas you share!

I LOVE this so much! I am very difficult to fit (largely because i'm tall- 6 feet or 183 cm). Trying to find cloths that I like and that fit is totally frustrating. Bookmarking this site now!
Bon soir, Marie-Anne, beautiful clothes, indeed. Almost all my clothes were made for me. I had the lucky to have a dressmaker all my life. It´s really a privilege to have the clothes made for ourselves according to the specifics and measures of our body. Today is more difficult find that kind of profssionals, unfortunately. Bijoux.
One of the things I like most about my white blazer is the white lining with marrow gray vertical stripes. It looks so classy when I wear it open. It's quite nice closed too because it's made of a high quality medium weight wool. I couldn't have come up with a more perfect design. It comes in at the waist which at least gives the illusion that I have more shapely hips like I used to before I lost so much weight.
I would appreciate a video on wide leg trousers for different body types and how to style them with amazon links

Thank you so much for this video! As a tall woman, made-to-measure seems the answer to all kinds of issues. I had been playing around with the Sumissura site last month and had even designed a navy trench coat (!) but my nerve failed me at the last moment because I was unsure of the quality, having never seen a made garment. Your lovely video-- and elegant designing-- has dissolved my worries, and I shall be pressing send on that order. Your dress is very flattering and you have so many options for styling it. Your trench coat is very classy. My favorite, however, is the shirt. It's hard to choose, but I love the shirt. I am blown away! I love the trench. The suit pieces are great as well. This is such a great service because these are made to fit the individual, not a mass produced piece. No more "gaposis" which is gaps in button down shirts that do not go quite meet. I had looked at this site because I wanted a plaid coat but they didn't have plaid material. Everything seems well priced. I want to go in and get a white suit like you have. How long does it take to get it made? This company is right on the money and fills a need.

It is great to see the price of the trench coat you styled. I need a new one in a few years, after my excess weight goes away. Also love the lining you chose for the jacket to the pant suit. I know where I will be going for a tailored pant suit. I can make simple dresses and skirts, but not pant suits. Thanks for introducing us to Sumissura.

OMG! This is a game changer. There should be more companies like this available with quality fabrics and accurate tailoring. I can't wait to try it out, since I am only 5'3" but hourglass figure with short arms and in-between sizes. I hope you can understand my frustration.

What a fabulous website. I couldn't find a white casual dress that you showed in a previous video and I can get one made cheaper than what I would have paid for one. Plus I have been looking for a 3/4 sleeve blouse which I will get made. I also purchased a pair of Calla shoes ( not the nude flats but some really cute black kitten heel shoes/boots) and a pair of red ballet slingback shoes. I can't wait to put together my outfits💕☘️

Hello Marie-Anne, I really love your channel. Please do you have any tips for women whose weight goes up and down due to health problems that are difficult to control. I find my clothes become either too big or too small and investing in clothes can be difficult as my size keeps changing. I've ended up sticking to gym wear which is something I would never have done before. I still would like to be elegant again. Thank you.
@@MarieAnneLecoeur Bonjour Marie-Anne merci for your kind reply. I already do as you suggest and have clothing that accommodate the opposite ends of my weight fluctuations. Even so my clothes never look as well fitted as I would like plus it seems like I need a huge garde-robe! My health practitioner is mostly focused on making sure that my weight doesn't cause further serious medical issues so in that respect it's "stable" just not the type of stability that agrees with my wardrobe. Would you have any tips on how to adapt clothing for smaller fluctuations and what items of clothing and styles are better suited for these types of adaptations? Over the past two years my weight has not fluctuated more than two dress sizes (and hopefully it stays that way) but it still leaves me looking like my clothes don't fit me properly. My compliments on your excellent channel. xx
An Ta, I’m sure your situation must be very frustrating! Don’t know where you live, but I’ve noticed that in the US, at least, MANY clothing items currently being offered in “respectable” clothing catalogs have stretch in the fabric-WITHOUT LOOKING ATHLETIC. I guess it’s an effort to appeal to folks who’ve worked from home in their gym clothes and are now returning to the office, etc., but still want comfort. Anyway, maybe some of those items would give you some flexibility. (I haven’t done much in-store shopping, but I suppose the same trend must be there, too.)
@@debraschwicht9741 Thank you! That is an excellent suggestion! I live in Europe and have not been in-store in ages (even before the pandemic I was restricted due to health issues). I'm not aware of any specific companies here that specialise in the sort of fabrics and garments you mention but I'll look into it. Lately I've been using shapewear and it does help a little bit. Due to weight fluctuations I've been hesitant to spend a lot on clothes which means the tailoring of the items I've been buying isn't the best which only adds to my general lack of elegance. I'm thinking of learning how to sew so I can adapt things myself. We'll see how that goes! I'd love to downsize my wardrobe but I don't want to have to start all over again if/when my weight changes again. The fact that I have mostly classic pieces means that at least I don't have to worry my clothing will be out of fashion by the time they fit me again.
I ordered from Sumissura based on this video and did not have a great experience. The clothes were WAY too big and the "perfect fit guarantee" turned out to mean that I had to find a local tailor to adjust them. The company said they would refund me, but only refunded part of the cost of the tailor. I was not very impressed. Did anyone else try it? What was your experience?

I wonder, did the sleeves fall well forward? And how about the trousers, do the side seams of the legs stay on the side or is the fabric cut on bias for saving material, so the legs start twisting around (a problem I often see)?
