I always like to have a sensitive rod tip with good backbone. Halibuts are very shy on taking baits so a sensitive rod tips will have a better chance. I always love to use light action rods for halibuts on boat or kayak. Good luck and thank you for watching.
Great fishing video my friend good vibes👍 what’s better to launch from oyster point or Berkeley launch marina? I’m planning my first halibut fishing trip
Thanks for watching. It depends on where you fish. There is no wash right now at Oyster point due to the station is being repaired. I like to launch at oyster point because it is cheaper and nicer launch.
@@Fishing247 how bout safe wise regarding like vandalism on cars people breaking in to cars is oyster point safer then Berkeley launch? Thanks for your response friend 🙏
I got them the size of the first fish in the cooling canal for a power plant on the orange county las Angeles county line California. Just on the east side of PCH next to the river on the south side. Many different species of fish in that canal. And you can catch your bait right in the canal with a sabiki. A number three Hayabusa sabiki.
Yep, It's all about the comradery with good friends and of course great food. Catching fish is the bonus.
My new way of fishing is cooking and have fun with friends. Thanks for watching.
Bro, your positivity infectious. Appreciate that energy, keep it up.
I appreciate that

Thanks. It is not all about fishing. Cooking is the way of fishing. 😁
Where did u get the little stove?
It is made in Taiwan. I bought it from Dai Thanh supermarket in San Jose. If you want, I can get one for you. Very good burner.
@@Fishing247what is the name of the burner, looks awesome? Good job!

Yeahhhh baby....no skunk TLA not on board...😅
Lol. TLA was not happy when I trolled him without him on the boat. 😂
Next time bring banana😂
@@poorfisherman1857 Moo always trolls TLA about Banana 🍌.
Haha how you guys be trolling me when I’m not even there!!😂🎉 that is trolling next level 😂
Lol 🤣. The best way to teo Trovy is when he is not on the boat so he has to watch the video. 😉
@@Fishing247 moo troll me when eating his banana on his kayak. He don’t openly troll me like you do. I get bullied everywhere 🥺☹️🤣
A small price to pay for being a BUTT 👑.🤣

Herring!
Thanks for watching.
Where is san francisco bay where your fishing at
Oyster Point, SFO airport, 15ft deep. Thanks for watching.
Yummy lobster! How come you guys didn’t net instead of gaft?
Good question! I will ask Vy. Lol. I usually pull them up by hand when they are close the legal size limit.
How many oz weight?
12 oz in the back and 16 in the front so limes are not tangled. Thanks for watching.
Hôm nay có cá rồi. Anh làm mồi ngon vậy mà không mang thêm xị nào hết à, mấy người dàn ông mà chỉ ăn mồi không thôi ^^
😂. Cám ơn em.
How fast are you trolling? Trolling for halibut, not trolling for Chovy 😂
Lol. Trolling for Chovy is 120 mph and 1.7 to 2.5 mph for butts.
Wow them lobsters! Y’all eating real good! 🔥
Yes we are. It is even tasted better when you are on water with great friends .
