Then wen I was in Nigerian, I have been to Eket,Oron, I travel to Akwa Ibom several times. I love you guys, u love strangers and your hospitality is the best🥰 thanks for sharing👍
Indeed! Akwa Ibom Ayaya, thanks for taking us with you to the 'Idung mfia enwe', please next time try and visit Ibeno cos it's another beautiful town less than 30 minutes drive from Eket.
Oh wow this video makes me feel connected to this place, the fact that the inhabitants migrated from Cameroon....and the good express roads too. Thank you for taking us with you Kem Kem❤❤❣❣
Maybe I have some relatives in Eket ooo! Wow! I love the historic background of this City. I never heard the name before but I know of Akwa ibong state. The city is really big. Ahhh so it has oil and clay too. It should be a rich state. Yes it is really beautiful. I love the ride with you sis. Thanks for sharing.
The open gutters on nigerian roads are just terrible, those open gutters are supposed to be closed and in most cases used as sidewalks or walkways for the people walking along the roads
After seeing Eket here, I guess it's needless for me to visit the place because you've done it for me and I think Uyo is a more beautiful and a more developed city than Eket. Thanks
The whole of Akwa Ibom is developed thanks to the Mobil oil from Eket, brought by late Colonel U.J Esuene, son of the soil from Eket.He developed the entire South Eastern State , now Akwa/ Cross when he was the governor. The young, handsome charismatic, detribalized Air Force Pilot is unparalleled and there will never be another. He built University of Uyo , cha.pion brewery, teaching hospital, federal secretariat, Calabar Itu road including the bridge, Akwa steel etc. He also built the University of Ogoja etc, Cross Riva State names their stadium after Esuene to honor him. He built the rafia center in Ikot Ekpene and Ibawa in Abak etc. Esue brought the Mobil oil that makes Àkwa Ibom State an oil producing State. Eket is unique and has long history of civilisation . The exposure of Ekid people is unmatched in Akwa Ibom State. The stratigic location of Ekid is enviable that attracted the British to settle there for their exports and imports when our beautiful Qua River / bight of Biafra was sea port. Without the rverine area, Eket, Oron, Onna, Ikot Abasi, Obolum, Akwa Ibom doesn't exist. Ekid is the PEARL of Akwa Ibom State
Eket is now massively occupied, with shuttles of roadside shadies used for roadside businesses. It was supposed to be the largest City of the State in equal basis with Uyo, but the dirty politics of the Ibibios. When in my childhood, it was a very beautiful city inhabited by whites, from the Oil Company with it's small airport. I understand it is now neglected by the present government and the previous governments, although the military Governor of the Southeastern State Bridg. Esuene, was from there. The Eketians are owners of businesses and business minded people, in what they do, they are professional lawyers, professors, king makers, politicians, the government officers runners, administrators and etc. The mineral resources of Eket/Ibeno is the biggest in Nigeria, where all Nigerians feeds on. Eket people are from where the entire Ibibio clan came and is derived from. Good job you are doing, but you are only showing one third of the great City of Eket; where are the towns of Ikot Ibiok, Afaha Eket, Ikot Usenekong, Ibeno, Onna, Ikot Ebok, Okon Eket, Ikot Ataku, Idua Eket, Ikot Udoma, Ikot Abuijan, Uquah Eket, the Administrative buildings, and etc.?
you are 100% it has really changed. i used to live in the neighborhood shown in the video now i cant even recognize the streets at all anymore. it used to be so green and quiet. I'm in shock with how different it is now.
Pretty interesting! Uyo roads are dominated by Kekes while Eket roads are dominated by Okadas. That said, Uyo is a very unique city compared with the rest of the nation, especially Lagos and Abuja. Unlike Lagos and Abuja; people actually obey traffic 🚥 red light signal, motorists drive like they're trained before getting on the wheels, the roads are safer because reckless and dangerous driving is almost non existent, absence of congestion on roads, even during rush hours, very high concentration of very attractive women with all the right curves to go with beauty However, you ought to be careful and watchful because most of the women chase after you for the wrong reasons or for their own selfish interests, more patient people, developed nation standard of availability of public transportation, ease of getting around without having to wait at the busstop, more developed or paved roads per square mile than you find in Lagos and Abuja, very high concentration of younger people and very green city with lots of availability of land spaces, talkless of the multiple beautiful public parks compared with Lagos and Abuja. However, on the flip side of things, the air around the major roads are very poluted because of the dominance of kekes; fruit and vegetables are hardly fresh and more expensive as well than they are in Lagos and Abuja. In fact, majority of 🍅 tomatoes you find in the market are rotten, power supply is very terrible, rear to find high quality products as well as high quality essential commodities, limited number of major grocery stores. For example, Shoprite is non existent and the lists goes on. All in all, it's a better place to live if a peaceful life without the bustle and hustle that comes with Lagos and Abuja is important to you. Housing or accommodation is at a 50% discount compared with Abuja and Lekki, Lagos. Less money to be made here but you'll be fine if you're into the right business for you

After seeing Eket here, I guess it's needless for me to visit the place because you've done it for me and I think Uyo is a more beautiful and a more developed city than Eket. Thanks
☺️ Uyo is the capital of the state so its suppose to be more beautiful. But other cities are springing up too.
