Somebody turned in a faulty lineup... The spelling is not Claes but actually Klas. Its also somebody that knew Swedish that faulted otherwise it would have been just Clas. Vila i frid Klabbe.

на следующем евро 96 будет то же самое из нашей же группы германия чемпионы, чехи вице-чемпионы)
Потом на Евро 2000 Франция из нашей отборочной стала чемпионом, в 2004 Греция и Португалия из нашей группы играли в финале, а в 2008 мы сами до полуфинала дошли, а Испания выиграла)

Russia (USSR) had a great side in the 80s but by 1994 not much was left, and many former Soviet players had fled the country and therefore didn't play for the national team anymore.
Also, in the qualifiers Russia were in the same group as Yugoslavia but due to the ongoing war there Yugoslavia didn't play any qualifying matches but had they completed them like usual, I'm quite sure they would've qualified for USA 94 instead of Russia.
Russia did beat Cameroon 6-1 in the last group match but both teams had already been eliminated by that point.
I rooted for Sweden in this world cup but seems to me like the ref had it in against the Russians.

Esa forma de festejar de Brolin de darse una media vuelta en el aire en el gol de penal que empató transitoriamente el partido, era muy característica de Brolin. Me acuerdo que también la hizo cuando hizo el gol de Suecia frente a Brasil en el partido que perdió Suecia 2 a 1, en el Mundial de Italia '90.
Igualmente el penal que le cobraron a favor de Suecia me sigue dejando mis dudas de que haya sido.

the one relatively decent match played by a Swedish team that will probably go down in history as the most overrated team ever and the most undeserved winners of medals at any world cup. In the first match they were lucky to get a draw against an extremely weak Cameroon team. In the last match they got a lucky and undeserved draw against a Brazilian team that had already qualified for the second round and therefore took the match very lightly. In the second round they met Saudi Arabia, probably the weakest team to ever make the second round in a world cup, but the Saudis were actually the better team in that match. In the quarter finals they were brutally outplayed by a far superior Romanian team, the Swedish victory after penalties was probably the most undeserved victory ever at a world cup. In the Semi-final they were totally dominated by an extremely inefficient Brazilian team,, Brazil should have won that match 8-0, they were totally in dominance but their strikers were just horribly inefficient. In the bronze medal match they met a Bulgarian team that was very hung-over after several days of non-stop partying following their semi-final loss to Italy. Luxembourg or San Marino could have beaten Bulgaria on that particular day. The Swedish team, overall was a disgrace, and Thomas Brolin is probably the most overrated player ever - while Thomas Ravelli is the most overrated goal keeper ever.
