It's "La Casa Del Bagre" - House of the Catfish! ~and it is amazing!!😜
Well my 1st comment just disappeared. So... Since Brighton is always singing your praises , I thought I'd touch base. My wife and I are considering a move there. I t would be permanent as we would be "commuting" with dogs from Nova Scotia. As long as we don't melt come summer there AND we can find affordable Healthcare for the over 65 ers that is. As you know leaving Canada's healthcare can be a worry. You look like life is treating you well there. Keep smiling Pam n Dave

For sure please keep in touch, and let us know when you're coming. Healthcare here is pretty decent, actually. My pops had gall bladder surgery successfully, and my mom's had great work done on her knees. It is unfortunate that the Canadian dollar is so weak against the US dollar. It is now $1.40 Canadian for one US dollar.

Indeed it's pretty great. Most areas offer fibre, and a few serious webusers even get Starlink as a backup plan. Have you checked @AlmostRetiredinMexico? The host is Brighton West and he has an excellent video on La Paz internet options!👌

This will definitely be a future inquiry and it's our plan for retirement as we'd keep our house here in the states but live in La Paz. It's beautiful and everything there is what we're looking for. I appreciate the reach out!

Hi Dave, so sorry for the late reply! Indeed there are loads of renters in El Centenario! It's not at all too far away - in fact it's part of La Paz. Our brokerage has some really good friends who manage properties out here, also, so we could help get you the hook-ups for some great rentals OR people to manage yours.
