I'd like to see future videos where you talk about the counters and other reasons for specific units and team compositions falling out of the meta (KVS, SOP, Molly, Monte, etc.). I also want to see your examples for countering more modern teams in the current meta (Mihyang Cichlid +1, Clara Vritra +1, Adriana comps, etc.).
I can't wait to see more of this series!
From a defense perspective, honestly the best counter to Mihyang Adriana Sonia is to concede that all defenses either lose to it, or lose to everything other than it, so I just don't factor it into my theorycraft. For ISGW I assume that one defense will always be Sonia'd, and for siege I assume that all defenses lose until the enemy runs out of Sonias lol.
Beyond that, I probably won't be getting into many current-meta counters unfortunately, as I'd either have to give up skyfall tech (which I can't/won't) or I'd be discussing 2nd tier counters which is counter productive :/
Instead my hope is to focus on some of our older but more creative counters and break them down so that people can get an idea of how to expand their perspectives and test some on their own :)
PS: MY Adriana Sonia is trappable. My point is that the trap requires a limited range of defenses and a limited range of builds. So you may (or may not) be able to beat MAS with the trap, but you lose to everything else.
Such a narrow range of trap builds typically only makes sense in later rounds of tourney. Just to be a bit clearer on this - in tourney it can make sense, but as a regular season build it's pointless. Since the first time a MAS traps someone, the enemy guild knows the builds and then the defense is food forever after :p
@@XennialGamer I believe that the thought process is the most important thing to adopt rather than learning a few specific counters to a few specific teams. The saying that "if you teach a man to fish he can eat for a lifetime" would apply here. It's unfortunate that the climate of the game has to be this way (with most whom have the knowledge being unwilling to share best practices for fear of it being used against them) but I understand where you're coming from, and commend you for what you're doing with this series.

Thanks man! The long delay in reply is actually because I like to save comments with suggestions. It's an interesting idea. As a series, I don't think I could keep up with at the moment - but as a 1-off longer guide, might be possible eventually. The real trick would be me figuring out what mid-game is and what should be included atm, as I've been end-game so long and the game itself has changed so much lol.

Indeed :( Was not happy with how the audio sounded. Sadly I have 3 videos recorded already, so the next two will probably face similar issues. Not sure what the problem is either - there weas no config change from my normal streams, where gains are limited. I even reduced the audio in editing, but that pretty much washed out the background music. #RIP

I hate the speed meta. I've been living in giants for faster swift and despair runes. My biggest issue is I'm rarely out speeding these defenses and when I try turn two they proc vio and despair stun like crazy.
Get sonia to hit 50% of boss. Then patrick can one shot u using cd less arti. Saves about 2s per run
Can't remember when I recorded this. Patrick does 1-shot the boss if he lands def break, but doesn't 1 shot if Sonia or he derps. I keep all dungeon teams runed at the same time, as it's too much headache to re-rune stuff and since I don't have Deborah, the R5 team with Miriam eats up a lot of my bigger sets. So Julie needs 6 fight sets to clear, and Patrick's winds up on like my 8th or 9th best set and his damage is just meh. (Sonia is low too on double fight/will with a lot of fight runes already used on other teams)

can u spill how to make the punisher team with sonia also do you have any steel fortress team too ?? im very tired farming dungeons that rely on def break/buff block/stupid ai cause its not 100% run, theres always a chance of def break not in and it fail

Sadly I recorded 3 videos that day. No idea what was up with the mic, I scrapped the other two. Hard for me to find time to record/edit/etc. these days :( But I spent a lot of time this month trying to improve audio quality. Got 2 videos coming out later this week with the new mic settings. Fingers crossed they're better (start editing today!)

I quite specifically said at the very start that I would not be discussing current meta counters, as me providing all of Skyfall's counters would put the other 29 people in the guild at a competitive disadvantage. That's unfair to everyone here that has worked hard as a team to advance. I wouldn't even bother replying here except for others reading the comments.
