  • Tool nose radius compensation || G40,G41,G42 tool compensation
    Function and purpose:-
    The tool nose is generally rounded and so a hypothetical tool nose point is treated as the tool nose for programming .with such a programming, an error caused by the tool rounding arises during taper cutting or arc interpolation between the actually programmed shape and the cutting shape. Nose R or Tool radius compensation is a function for automatically calculating and offsetting this error by setting the nose radius or tool radius value.
    Programming Format:-
    G40 = Nose R/Tool radius compensation mode cancel
    G41 = Nose R/Tool radius compensation left mode ON
    G42 = Nose R/Tool radius compensation right mode On

    Thank you once again Sirji for a wonderful explain on tool nose radius compensation.🙏🙏
    But Sir Ji I hv follow step by step according to this video I am getting 0.1 different size at the corner.
    My final Size is 59 mm OD
    Id 37 mm ball length is 44 mm. So at the corner I am getting 58.89 mm.
    So any solution for this??????

    Your videos are good. ball radius progrm you have shown limits to only concept. If you can write the whole programme how to remove 15-20 mm material from raw material stage to finished product in canned cycle, it will be very useful. Same ball program will be very useful.

      Sure I will explain on the topic, but g72 canned cycle doesn't support several machines or control systems

      Tool radius always mention, either use g42 or without g42, that is different things, don't correlate each other's

    Sir me jab bhi iss code ka upyog karta hu to ye job ke face me jitna naap hai usse thoda tool aage chala aur rediuse yaato chamfer khacha lag kar lagta hai ......
    Me g code ka use aise karta hu
    for example
    Hame x10 ki id me 1 ki chamfer lagani hoto

    G01 g41 z0 f0.15

    G00 g40 x8 z2
    Aise likhta hu to ye sahi hai ya galat or galat hoto

    Sir aap bahut kam shabdo mai bahut kuch sikha dete hai, shukriya ! fanuc controller ke liye compensation ke rules details mai explain kro na ? Bahut baar ek program 0.4 radius ke liye run hota hai par 0.8 radius ke liye hota nahi , interference in G41 and G42 alarm aata hai .Please explain .

    sir ,
    5mm Grooving insert lagake 8mm ka groove width banana hai, lekin problem ye hoti hai ki, insert wear hone ke bad wo groove width maintain nhi rahati, isliye harbar program me Z axis ke coordinate ko adust krna padta hai, aisa koi solution batayiye ki program me disturb na krte huye offset me se groove width maintain kr sake .
