Bro! You are a life saver! I am currently training maasai girls on leadership and one of the role models/ leaders we were looking at was wangari mathai, I have been searching for videos on her story on RUclips but none was elaborate enough and told in a youth appealing way until this night when I came across this video. I actually tried searching for it on your channel last week and today seeing it on my notifications felt like a miracle...I cant wait to show it to the girls tomorrow during our lesson....you are a great story teller it's like watching a movie and I personally learn a lot from your stories. Keeping teaching us!
This will definitely be the icing on our cake for us as we finish our leadership training this week!🙂
she is my favorite..I can recommend her books: Unbowed and the Challenges of Africa. It will impart knowledge of the girls. Goodluck

Yousafzai is a hero to date.. a story of courage a midst crisis.
Wangari Maathai is a true environmentalist. we should continue her legacy. #ClimateAction
Wangari mathaai was a legend. Sad to see how quickly her works have been forgotten and public lands are now being converted to places of architecture instead of the green areas they once were. She must be turning in her grave
Wangari Maathai remained unbowed to the end. Such people bring long-lasting changes to the world. I love her book, 'Unbowed.'
Hats of to the late Wangari Maathai, we need to conserve our environment for generations to, Mau forest and other forests should be conserved at all cost, watu wapande miti, thank you Mkurugenzi for bringing this onboard.
The Paul muite picture popping up nearly gave me a heart attack 😂😂
A few years from now this is the kind of channel that I will allow m y kids to watch just so they can learn from it. Mkuruu and your team may our good Lord increase your years on earth, bless you , favor you and protect you always.❤
If only everyone in this channel made the attempt to plant a tree this year.
Imagine if every subscriber planted a tree each year that would be 250k trees in only one year trees that would be so great

Hello mkurugenzi Abel.
I think you should tell us the Big story of Mr Tom Mboya. He really did great things for this country which lead to his death.
Tupangia hii story mkuruu
One of the most beautiful stories to have ever come from our beautiful land. Wangari Maathai is a Legend and her good work lives one. For some reason, her story brings me to tears. How you narrated it is just amazing 👏🏾
You made me shed tears 😭 listening to the story. Her spirit still lives on. Great 👍 job mkuru

We need to nurture a new generation of activists through such inspirational takes. Hatuwezi achia kina Boniface pekee yake.
The Green Belt Movement, she started has inspired millions of people all over the world.
The Subaru boys are very well represented in the title today, 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
VIVA Wangari Mathai ❤️
The excitement in Mkuru as he gives this story is infectious.
This is the kind of history that should be taught in this country!!!
Today's story is my favorite, Highlighting my role model. she is my all time role model. may Her soul rets in peace. cancer took a real heroine from us. The struggles she went through yet still emerged victorious in everything she did
I think if am not wrong also Aby Ahmed "prime minister" of Ethiopia has won the Nobel Peace prize.
The fact that mkuru always makes a sad story emjoyable is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You tell her story so well. We're blessed that Wangari Muta Maathai lived.
Wow, this was refreshing to say the least. It's always a serene environment as you pass through Karura forest breathing in fresh air thank to Wangari Maathai, maybe saa hii it would have been worse being residential area. If one man or woman is fully committed to his/her assignment what an impact would be. The world is we know it would be a paradise. Shout out to women and men resiliently trying to make a change in this world 🗺.
very apt topic!! Feb 11 is International for Women and Girls in Science...she was a trail blazer for sure
the legacy of a forester is imprezaing
when she met the guy the sound track is a breakout song.
Wangari Muta Maathai , THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DID FOR US.
Abel Mutua and Team
Iyo stori ya maathai imekuwa true sana....she really made us proud!!!!!!
Mukuruu tupigie na story ya our fallen president John Pombe Magufuri…shout out from Tanzania 🎉
Now I can pick up her book “The challenge for Africa” I’ve had it in my bag for a month promising myself each day to read at least a chapter. My dad sent it to me from Nairobi to South Sudan insisting I should read it. Hii episode imecheza kama yeye.
These are the people we need to appreciate, Forget about these hooligans politiking
Malala is a wonderful leader, so inspiring and down to earth. So proud of the strides she’s continued to make♥️
I love this channel because even your crew becomes the audience..
My kids will learn a lot from this channel
One day tuambie story ya George Muchai, former MP Kabete. Tell more Kenyan stories. Let this young generation know our heroes.

Was eagerly waiting for this. Mkuru you've done justice to this legend. Kudos
This series is about delivering a product as though nothing else in this world matters, but just the product.
Wow amazing story indeed. True humanity. Rest well Wangari maathai.. I once visited karura forest and the ambience is breathtaking.. You only wish to pay visit more and more...
Thank you for telling her story. You are doing very important work.
Abeliiiiii..you are taking the world by storm. I love your passion.
Able your a natural leader I appreciate your stories and the educational values we learn from them one love brother
Abel this is where poverty came from. i wish we would go back to the drawing board these selfish people in leadership took all the land. we need a revolution to resolve these.
Malty talent hakuna ku force...we need two episodes per week bro this is so sweet
Can't believe am watching this the third time. Can't get enough of it🔥🔥🔥🔥
That Paul mwite joke was funny😂
Woman of steel 🔥🔥. Abel peana stori ya Muamar Gadaffi
Baba Mumbus thanks coz this r things we should be reminding ourselves and we can even interact with our kids and educating them keep it up si kama the mkurugenzi followers we should plant a tree in remembrance of legend Wangari Maathai
How I have enjoyed this story..mkuru u did it.mob love
Thank you for Airing this story, we need to conserve our environment, you didn't mention kuna mtu alisema mvua haitoki Kwa misitu inatoka binguni during Mau evictions, now some people are blocking roads ati river is drying, nature is very powerful and unforgiving, thank you for the enlightenment.
Thanks for narrating this story I have learned alot.Everyone should plant a tree.
Yes we need a public holiday of 3 days for only planting trees and the govt should allocate pple to water the trees till maturity level.
Great story telling skills but there is so much you left out, I was a member of green belt movement back in 2009, when I was in university, we met wangari and she gave us a speech which moved us to bits, that lady was a lioness, my grandmother also was a member of the greenbelt but they had a different name (kikuyu), wangaris ORGANISATION skills were really good, her organisation was even in the villages, you should visit her daughter and another lady who was of Caribbean decent whom they ran the organisation with, she was old but i hope she is still alive
What is the Gikuyu name?
Boss this is his story. He knows best why he chose to focus on the topic he spoke about. Relax
Nice story as usual..very real and true...wangari shall forever remain the heroine of this planet.
I love this series, lakin hi imenitouch deadly. Makofi Wangari Maathai! Ahsante for telling it amazingly
That "asante sana" by Dj Afro...Nice. 😂
All day without mkurugenzi makes me dull.
Sasa hizo enzi wakitafuta sharp guys, where was my grandfather 🤣🤣
Keep making it more consistent. Ju nishamaliza all your your last episodes.. Great work🔥🔥🔥🔥
Good job Mukurugenzi!!!! Wacha nikushow kitu..... Hao vijana walikua wametolewa kawangware..... One of the leaders was our neighbor
But am proud of Prof. Wangari Maathai for her zeal to protect us by protecting our environment
Am watching this for the third time. Leta season 2 ya high on heroines
These episodes are making me sound so intelligent sometimes when I quote things I heard from these High on heroines! Lol
I so love the work that goes into your storytelling. You really put in the work... Thank you for really valuing us enough to give us such content...Keep on.
It's the editing for me. the story is awesome
I love aviation stories as much as you do mkuruu, one of these days nitakuja tupige stori moja moto
Great story told wonderfully. It is, however, increasingly difficult to listen to. If Wangari saw Uhuru Park and the Karura forest today, how would she feel?
The future of the planet concerns all of us, and all of us should do what we can to protect it
This story is sooo emotional. Thanks for these stories
ONE Of OUR OWN.WANGARI MAATHAI, HIGH ON HEROINES.Mkurungenzi 🔥🔥🔥.Land system was messed by our greedy selfish leaders,Now it has catched up with us 😭.Big country full of landless Citizens and destroyed ecosystem.
"when you decide to do something the universe conspires to support you" may she rest in peace
Your humility is just astounding
My favourite channel
We need more African stories
Wooww 🔥🔥🔥🔥. The wait was worthwhile! Mkuru is the G
"Asanta saaaana" voice effect, by DJ Afro caught us off guard 😂😂😂😂😂🔥🙌
The only channel that has no dislike, not even a single one.
