Once again, another amazing visit to see the Wildlife in America with you. How marvelous to get to see the Mustangs in the Wild! Beautiful horses, and great documentary, too, as you share what you've learned, and what you observed here Karen! Thank you again, for sharing with us! Looking forward to the day you have your own TV series.
Well done, great example of wild herd behavior. It's not uncommon for large bands to have one or two lieutenants. The youngster at 5:52 might qualify as a medhat, possibly a war bonnet, highly prized by native peoples (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinto_horse). Dry conditions in 2018 did necessitate the hauling of water to these horses by volunteers. Initially the BLM said no but then relented. The best home for them is right there, on the range. Did you see any domestic livestock in the area?
Eclipse has one beautiful band of paint mares. That band along with Kias, and Blazers have some of the most unique paints.Very nice video!
Thank you, Theresa! I'm still learning all the names of these beautiful, wild Mustangs!
