- This is a review of the SuperSport XL kids ride on car from RiiRoo in the UK. This is a 24v 2 seater ride on as standard. My car has been modified and I have pointed out the modifications and stated what arrives as standard. I also discuss the build process for the car once it arrives and demonstrate the functions of the car.

I just ordered one of these for my kids, I also ordered an 1800 watt brushless motor, a 1800w 48v lithium ion 20ah pack and controller for it hoping to get some good results out of that but I’m gonna start off using just the 48v controller and pack lol I’ll make a video of how it goes

The online price of Super Sport XL is 679 pounds. The output of the original design has been increased to 48V 650W, the battery life is 45 minutes, about 6.4 kilometers, and the top speed that everyone is most concerned about can reach 35 kilometers per hour. However, the whole car is not equipped with a suspension system, which lacks comfort. Fortunately, all four wheels are equipped with pneumatic tires. Can't you get a battery that will last a couple of hours at least? Or would you need to change batteries over whilst other on charge

Thanks and yes but not brilliantly, it's dooable, the tyres and wheels are something I have struggled with in order to get the perfect combination but I am working on them.

I want to upgrade the speed on this but I’m a little confused. I’m getting a 48v battery but I’m not sure what exactly it does, does it upgrade the speed or do I need new motors?
You need to replace the motor controller as well, if you connect that battery to the current controller, you will fry it and not have a working car, where in the UK are you?

I cant afford it...but I have a powerwheel 2 seater porsche i got for $35..
i can sort rig up into a single seater for an adult.lol.
The kiddies are going crazy on it on 24v stock at the moment.
Just need to cut out the back so I can scoot the seat back a little more and center
the steering. Have to do it old school...live axel ( I have disc brakes and sprocket for mid (mini) 2000 watt blm on 48V..The wheels on it are 13.5 " O.D.
Kindda still wanna keep the stock wheel and just screw gardening divider so
i can still do power slide/drift on it. 20-25 mph will be plenty to out race them.lmao
i also screw in bike tires to the front...( it's alot more quite)
I also going to mount the hood scoop/engine from a spyder man car...

Kiddies have plenty over powered ride on kiddies cars and scooters.( over 15 -ea)
I been collecting for them from FB market and modifying for them..They're spoil.
FB market place is a great place to get some second hand cars and get them for very good prices. I get cars from there all the time. You will enjoy fixing them up and I'm assuming that you have the Porsche GT3, that is a fantastic base for modifying, loads of space and potential with that car. Sure it's been converted to run on 48v with an upgrade motor controller and LifePO4 battery. There is a pioneer amp and pioneer speakers with a tangband mini subwoofer and a bluetooth adapter for music. There is an aluminimum rear spoiler, a GPS speedometer, underglow lights, moped horn, led strip lights for side lights, indicators and brake lights, eagle eye leds for headlights. Front and rear camera system, and probably a few other bits I have done and forgotten about. Thanks for checking out my channel and check out my other videos for more information on this car.

The hood wrap was done by a vinyl wrap guy but I have since removed it and it was generic vinyl wrap from eBay

Hey mate, sorry for the late reply on your other message, as it's the same question here, I will answer it here. In short the answer to your question is no. There isn't something that you can simply cut and the car will go faster, however if you check out my other videos, you will see that it is possible to replace the motor controller and battery to obtain a higher speed. Where in the world are you? Also I am doing a live stream tomorrow at 20:00 BST, if you wanted to pop along, I can answer questions there on the car for you in real time if that is better.

@nikrez All on that video I mentioned, check out the description, the only thing you will need to source is batteries, if it helps 4 12v 10ah SLA batteries fit in the front.
Is it just the controller you changed or battery as well
And is yours a twin motor or single
I have this car everything working well but today I turned the key lights and music work fine but when I put my foot on accelerator it's like there is no power and I can't drive it please help what could the problem be ?
If you change between forward and reverse does it work in either of them?

Dude that is sick, how much you pay for it?
In the UK for a brand new one it's around £700, waited quite a while for someone to get it in the stock, they are a bit easier to get hold off in the States though if your out there and around $1000
I got the same car. I would like to convert from 24 to 36 volt to increase speed. What do I need to change in order to make this work?
Hi there, you will need to replace the motor controller with a 36v brushless motor controller and also upgrade/replace the battery, it's not too difficult to accomplish, what are your wiring skills like?

@@navsparks3192 Merry Christmas to you too sir and yes please do keep me updated. The stock wiring will be ok for 36v and 800w upgrade controller. It's a generic chinese controller and is generally plug and play, I have a brief video here that explains the process to a degree ruclips.net/video/UQzCsP_I57g/видео.html With regards to the battery, I would recommend a LifePO4 battery but these are costly, I recommend these over standard Lithium Ion batteries as there is less chance of a fire with them upon impact, which lets be honest, all kids crash these cars into something haha. You can go with lead acid which is much cheaper but these are heavier and have significant less runtime.

Turn it off, it will push much easier. I have had one of these for about 6 years now. It is still 24V. wait! You didn't even show us the speed at 48V? South Carolina, USA. Mine does about 9 MPH.

So i found myself a bmw x6 ride on for my daughter.
Unfortunately i broken it.
It was 6v but added the 12v12ah which i bought the same battery due to reliable as the Ambulance 3 wheeler.
What i did was she was driving forward fast and i hit the reverse nob and broken the a main drive cog.
So I'm looking to replace it with 12v motor but notices this on the top of the motor. Circuit board.......I'll send you a photo
Any idea what they are?

Yeah email me on contact@stitch76.com but if it's what I think it is, it's a soft brake / slow start board, it's ok to remove and yeah £20 should do you getting a new motor and gearbox from aliexpress, send me a photo of the motor and the wheel mount on it and I will send you a link for the right one.
P.S. I'm glad to hear the ambulance is still going strong and getting some good use out of it.

Found this bmw in a fly tip on the road. Led lights work too.. was nervous because it was 6v. It wouldn't work.
after i bought a new battery. tested every think and its a thumbs up. Obviously the wife was not happy because its takes up her boot space. Lol.
I've got a spare led under cabinet light strip to add on the car that Ive cut the adapter off and used some old cam belts for traction on the wheels.
Hence why the Blimey cog smashed to bits..... sent you few emails. Hope they are ok. The photograph. Where did you buy them rubber tyes.?

May i start and say your video's are brilliant and was wondering if you can help me convert my daughter 6v 3 wheeler.
I've bought a 12v 12ah battery and D style fuse holder.
My work colleagues said 5 to 10 amp fuse is plenty. But I've notices a lot of people putting 30amp or 40amp and wanted to know why such a high amp.

Hiya its an Aldi Electronic Trike Ambulance. With 5amp self resetting 60sec. Now sure about the speed control. I know its slow but it has great torque and with rubber tyres now on it. Its brilliant
Ok found it online, are all the lights and sounds powered off the as batteries or do some of them draw from the main battery? @@Stitch76 hiya unfortunately I'm in Essex. And yes only the from light work on the battery. Unfortunately the wire snapped near the resistor so I have put a battery one in there and the back one is battery..... I would like to add lights.
Also can i still charge the battery with the original charger that is 6v 800m.
Ok so the good news is no control box, so it's easier to upgrade to 12v, bad news is it doesn't look like you have room for a 12v battery there, at least one with a decent capacity to give more then 30 minutes runtime, depends on your ability to fabricate / willing to cut the toy up. Also with just 1 motor, it's going to spin a lot on 12v, which on a 3 wheeled vehicle, not sure how well it will handle, never really worked on a 3 wheel.
No you can't use your 6v charger to charge a 12v battery, that will knacker the battery.
Also those 380 motors don't hold up too well to over-volting. Of course though I am going to assume it's a standard gearbox as all of Aldi's ride on toys are with the exception of the Feber ones, so we can get a 12v motor gearbox in there, that will handle the power fine. How confident is your daughter riding it at the moment?
Also what are your wiring skills like? Be brutally honest here, as it will depend on which route I advise you to go down next.
How much would you accept if you were to make on for me ?

Be very careful when buying this type of product. Theres two versions , one with standard "dual motors", and a premium "Brushless version" as shown in this video. The brushless version has disc brakes, differential, air filled tires.... the standard version is nowhere as good and drives like a cheap toy, very noisy, drives horribly. Hope this helps others. Its very confusing as often they are sold for the same price, yet the brushless version is usually almost twice the price.

It woud be a case of strengthening the metal frame, to be honest I say there is currently a 100Kg limit but it's had more then that and been fine. Strengthening it more be would quite easy but it adds extra weight to the car so will lose power :(
