I personally haven’t ever had to remove a tag because where I am the BLM removes them before loading. So it was nice to see. Also, It does seem like a cool tradition to be able to do. No bull; I've made a point of recalling your example to keep my mind right at exasperating sticking points. (My own milestone: I haven't sworn at a horse out loud or under my breath in over a month! 😆) Needless to say, you'd be the last person I'd want to compete with in a contest of patience. And lucky Sparrow. It's not hard to imagine her challenging type being a poor match for many, but she found you and that's the best part of this story.

The FS uses microchips for when if ever a horse is stolen or lost when found they will know who the owner is and where the horse came from.
