The last three albums by Bleed From Within are amongst the heaviest and most groovy stuff I've ever heard. They reminded me why I love this genre so much.
2:46 This has to be one of the most original breakdowns in modern metal. Nowadays it's almost garanteed that a build up on a metalcore song is gonna end up on a half-time low-frequency breakdown. So this guys do the build up... And then immediately cut the first low note. And it's the grooviest shit. And I didn't know Goonzi was using the whammy on that. How do they come up with all of this

When you consider who these guys list as influences, I think they've done good by all those who came before, but they are really breaking new ground with some of this writing. I won't be suprised if they start seeing their heros in the crowd soon enough.

Bleed From Within! I absolutely love your music and I think you are by far some of the most talented individuals in the genre! I'm sad to say though, I think I would enjoy your music much more frequently were it a little more stripped down. In my opinion this playthrough let's "Temple of Lunacy" shine in a way that I wish the actual studio release would mirror. Just a little feedback from a fan. Rock on🤘
If you’re talking about the A chord at 1:34, actually it’s an interesting chord which is composed of A(index finger on the 3rd fret）and a lower E(pinky on 5th fret), which makes the chord sounds very heavy and low, but actually there isn’t any A0 or drop A tuning going on
@@劉仲齊 no, I was not talking about the inverted low A power chord that they create by fretting 5 on the low E and 3 on the A (obviously downtuned to B and F#, respectively), I was referring to the low A note that plays in the main riff. You first hear it at 0:13. It is lower than the B root to which they’ve downtuned and is represented in the tab book as a fretting of 1 on a low 7th string tuned to G#.
