Best visualization of the Qi concept in movie! Even better than what Star Wars did with the "Force". I like how it demonstrates physical power and skills are no match to Qi: two skilled fighters cannot defeat the harpists; but the harpists are still not the most powerful, they need the instrument as a medium to focus and deliver the energy, while the land lady is powerful enough to release her Qi energy by just screaming. That's better than Jedi's in Star Wars where the differences between novice and powerful force manipulators are just how big of a thing one can move with force.

After so many years, still one of my favourite fight scene in a martial arts movie. The choreography and music score is so good. Fun fact: You watch Shang-Chi? The landlord is Master Guang Bo. The actor's name is Yuen Wah.
The musicality is so perfectly integrated with the action of this scene-- this whole thing is a creative masterpiece. My favorite part is the exchange between the lawyer and the landlady, when he tells her to eat shit and die: "Die? In all this racket?" 😂
This movie is awesome and the fight choreography is amazing I still get goosebumps at the big “twist” in this fight. I know it’s been foreshadowed since the film began that landlady is a actually a kung fu master, but it’s so easily dismissed due to the movie being comedy

characters introduction in this movie was superb
Land Lady and her husband should be in the next Mortal Kombat.
That's got to be the funniest Kung Fu movie I've ever seen lmao 😂😆😂😂😂
Try princess and the seven Kung Fu masters another funny gem!!!!! Classic!!

The landlady and her husband reveals are one of my top cinematic reveals ever, her character is F'ing awesome. A couple years ago I paused an old James Bond movie where he has two girls protecting/fighting for him. One was that actress, she had retired and had acted in 30yrs, she was taking her granddaughter to an audition when a casting director spotted her for this role... 🤯
To save everyone the weeks it took me searching for this song when I saw the movie long ago.

GET OUT OF MY WAYY! That dude funny as hell & this whole money is funny as fuck. That lady sounds like my mom when she get mad at me when I was younger
I only watched it in it's original language with subtitles.
It sounds goofy with the dubbing imo.
After so many years, still one of my favourite fight scene in a martial arts movie. The choreography and music score is so good.
Fun fact: You watch Shang-Chi? The landlord is Master Guang Bo. The actor's name is Yuen Wah.
It's hard to recognize with all the facial hair
i hope Chinese action movies make like this agian this is was so epic and enjoy to watch with comedy and action the best kung fu movie i watch GOAT
absolutely fantastic scene love this movie ,blessed
Greatest kung-fu movie ever
After lions roar when harpists escaped crawling in torn attire, I burst out laughing
Who knew the lion's roar was real?
Honestly one of my favorite film scenes of all time.
I like the harpists' aesthetic. One is blind and has sharp hearing.
I can't be the only one re-watches this movie from time to time right?
The musicality is so perfectly integrated with the action of this scene-- this whole thing is a creative masterpiece.
My favorite part is the exchange between the lawyer and the landlady, when he tells her to eat shit and die: "Die? In all this racket?" 😂
You Are A Great Performer.
This movie is awesome and the fight choreography is amazing
I still get goosebumps at the big “twist” in this fight. I know it’s been foreshadowed since the film began that landlady is a actually a kung fu master, but it’s so easily dismissed due to the movie being comedy
