  • A finger poem about a tree growing! I originally wrote this for an early childhood forest play called "In The Grove", in partnership with Filament Theatre in Chicago and Friends of the Forest Preserves. We all sang this song under a canopy of oak trees!
    Lyrics:
    Down come the raindrops,
    Down go the roots,
    Down comes the sunshine,
    And up comes a shoot,
A tiny tree, it might move slow,
But we can help it grow and grow!
