¿Who's Missing?
This was Awesome but wished the directors would have went another direction
And developed this into a full two in a half hour movie instead seeing what would
happen if Mickey and the gang came across one of employees and see what would happen
Plus storyline could have been more well written

The Genie/Robin Williams part wasn’t AI. It was actual unused dialogue from Robin Williams
That makes it even more special :)
I see why Disney didn’t allow the unused dialogue in the Final Cut.
May he rest in peace❤
Makes sense, there’s 6 hours of audio of him recording for Aladdin so there’s definitely material to pull from
I’m assuming the unused dialogue was with the permission of Williams’ daughter Zelda. She was pretty vocal about her father’s voice being used for other projects.
Fun Fact:
Disney asked Robin Williams estate if they have permission to use one of his old lines that was archived for Genie in the new short and they allowed it!!
So, it’s not AI ;)
Thank you that’s amazing!
@@GalaxyGeeksYour welcome!!
I’m just glad it’s not AI and actually his voice and was an outtake and now finally used for this new short
agreed! @@AFC2022
Really Loved the short. I got emotional also. Hope they continue to do 2d animation :)
A lot of Disney fans are going to be very happy seeing all your favourite characters from the past 100 years. Can't wait for everyone to see this short.
Agreed it was so wonderful :)
where can i even look at it

Seeing Bolt, Chiken Little, Milo, Aladar after all those years where they never had any appearitions anywhere it warm my heart
It was so great :)
Chicken Little where?
Nvm found him
@@yustargloria2016Yeah he was in the men’s bathroom scene combing his feathers and crest.
They even have been updated to the newer animation
This warmed my heart to see all my favorite characters together. Rest In Peace Walt Disney and thank you for making my childhood Magical.
Absolutely loved it so much!
Brought a tear to my eye to see some of the characters i never expected to see animated again
Treasure Planet is my favorite disney film.. so seeing Jim
And let not forget the many voice actor that play the characters that are no longer with us.
Walt was racist
The elder gentleman at the beginning of the short was Burny Mattinson, the longest serving employee of the Disney company. Passed back in February. His wife made the Pooh bear seen at the beginning of the original Pooh shorts back in the 60s. First worked on Lady And The Tramp. He created Legend the dog for Strange Worlds last year.
Yes yes he was one of the best, it's unfortunate that he did pass Feb 23 this year, but he is forever memorialized in this
Fun Fact: That Gene clip was NOT AI!
They had multiple outtake voices from Robin Williams himself and had the rights to use them for the short!
I love this!
Just got back from watching this short. I was nearly at the verge of tears at the end. Just seeing this many characters together in one place, THIS is the Disney I know and love!
Despite its current state, I'll always cherish its many creations Disney gave us. And who knows? Given the tech it displayed here, a House of Mouse revival could come sooner than we think!
I’d love a house of mouse revival that would be incredible!
Is been a long years since there are many new characters & new Villians. I wonder what will happen in the full movie 🤷♀️
Omg! I would love to see a House of Mouse revival!
@@jg5670 I thought the same when I was watching this!
I cried at the end of the short. When I went to watch this short, I was sitting the floor like a little kid. I was smiling throughout.
If Disney ever gets to their 100th animated movie it should be something like this 😊
That would be so fun!
Agreed big time
They are currently at 61
That cameo with Oswald 🫡🥲. Besides, that Garfield Pun was 😂, and that closure was terrific.
haha very true
It feels like a family reunion right before my eyes. I have been watching this over and over again and tear up every single time because this is just my childhood right in my eyes
Curious how come you decided to check out this video. Wanting to understand my audience and community more so I can keep creating even better content.
Makes me feel sentimental seeing all of those characters from my childhood. The magic of popping in a Disney VHS/CD will never be replaced.
YES AGREED!!!!
5:37 So glad that they had Aladar and his family! So glad that Disney's Dinosaur got the respect it deserved by having their characters have a cameo. Sooo happy! 😍😍😍💙💙❤️❤️💜💜
It was so great!!!
@@GalaxyGeeks I know, right? The Lion King is my top favorite Disney film, but Dinosaur is easily my second favorite.
Rest in peace Walt Disney, you brought the magic to my childhood. I hope that someday Disney will be able to bring the magic back to its former glory.
I really hope so too
It will
So awesome of them to finally acknowledge Oswald and The Black Cauldron ❤️❤️❤️
haha i know right!
I was in tears. So many characters and stories the past 100 years. So much joy to see them all together ❤️
It was so amazing!
3:28 this part made me tear up, they even play Walt’s fave song in the background 🥹🥹
It was so great :)
Not only that, it was Richard Sherman himself (the composer of Feed the Birds from Mary Poppins) well into his 90s playing Walt's favorite song... in his piano kept in the studio!!
This was also the first and only time(so far) that Walt and Mickey have interacted 🥹
I cried when Mickey Mouse went up to Walt Disney picture frame and saying his thanks and everything 😭😭
It was amazing!
Just watching that makes me wish it was even longer.
Seeing all our favorite characters in one sight.
Simba, Tiana, Winnie The Pooh, Aladdin, Rapunzel, Dumbo even Kuzco!
The list goes on.
How will Disney ever top this?
Agreed I loved this so much!
@@GalaxyGeeks I also watched this short, and it was BREATH-TAKING!! It made my heart soar with amazement and epic storytelling wonder! I also missed seeing Bolt, Winnie the Pooh, and all the other original characters in this short, including Ariel and Eric!! I really loved watching this short film! One hundred years of amazing storytelling!!
Tin Man from Wizard of Oz: Now I'm sure I've got a heart, cause it's melting.
It's nice to see all the Disney characters old and new.
It was wonderful :)
I’m very pleased 😀
So much magic in a few minutes. That’s the Disney I love and know.
It was so wonderful!
The Walt moment was super sweet❤
It really was it was so special :)
The Genie voice was actually archived footage from Robin Williams himself.
I love that so much!!!

Happy 100th Anniversary, Disney!
I was geeking out so much when Elliott the dragon appeared. Loved him almost my whole life.
Aww that’s so amazing :)
@@GalaxyGeeks technically that was sisu not raya
Anyone else tear up at the end of the video? God I can’t believe Disney is 100 years old- it’s literally been with all of us forever. Here’s to the next century of magic :)
Amazing reaction and I also got a chance to watch the short when it premiered on ABC, all I can say seeing all 400-500 of our favorite Disney characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios that we grew up with brought me in tears and we haven’t had a Disney crossover like this since the _Kingdom Hearts_ series and especially _House of Mouse._ Honestly I’m dying to see a _House of Mouse_ reboot series.
Also to answer your questions regarding Robin Williams dialogue of the Genie in the short, no it’s not AI generated Audrey, this was unused audio that Robin recorded and they got consent from Williams family and the Estate to use that audio.
Finally, on the Disney characters you were unable to recognize and aren’t familiar with their names during the short I will tell you:
1. The Dog, Cat and Hamster that were by Minnie at 1:09-1:11 are Bolt, Mittens and Rhino from _Bolt._
2. The boy riding the solar surfboard adjacent to Sisu the Dragon is Jim Hawkins from _Treasure Planet_ which is basically a sci-fi reimagining of Treasure Island.
3. The Dog that was in Vanellope’s Cart at 1:25-1:26 is Dodger from _Oliver & Company._
4. The Elves at 1:31-1:32 that zoomed past Cody and Elliot the Dragon are Wayne and Lanny from _Prep and Landing_ a series of animated TV specials that aired from 2009-2011 during the Christmas season.
5. The woman at the Cafe at 1:39-1:40 in the far right is Lucille Krunklehorn from _Meet the Robinsons_ in fact, you also see Lewis, Wilbur Robinson, Carl the Robot and Bowler Gat Guy as well in the short. Carl the Robot was in the Elevator and Lewis, Wilbur and Bowler Hat Guy were in the group shot at the end while the former were by the Queen of Hearts at 4:49 & 4:51-4:53.
6. The guy from Pinocchio who was arguing with the Vending Machine is Stromboli.
7. The animated lost boy at 2:07-2:08 is an animated Robin Williams from an animated short called _Back to Neverland_ which was an attraction used at Disney’s Hollywood Studios during the late 1980’s.
8. The Large Demon from _Fantasia_ is named Chernabog and he’s from the _Night at Bold Mountain_ segment.
9. The blue creature that was following Ursula at 3:02-3:04 is Splat from Disney’s latest animated feature, _Strange World_ that was released last year.
10. The Lion that was by Wasabi and Wart (Sword in the Stone) at 4:25-4:27 is King Leonidas from _Bedknobs and Broomsticks_ a live-action Disney film from the 1970’s which like _Mary Poppins_ has an animated sequence.
Thank you so much!
5:29 The When You Wish Upon A Star Part that all The Disney Characters sang.... Dang, I Also Sing along and Even my Friends and Cousin too.
I Love This Short "Once Upon A Studio" Its Got all the Characters and Stories that we love since from the Beginning.
Happy 100 Years Of Wonder, Disney.
It was so great :)
Me too best music ever
So wonderful and a beautiful tribute to Disney’s incredible legacy. That moment with Mickey and Walt’s picture brought tears to my eyes for sure!!
This, my friends is so epic. As a hardcore Disney fan, I was so excited to see this short and definitely excited because it features the crossover of of our beloved Disney characters. It'll be so awesome if they do more crossovers like this. 😊
Id love that!

OSWALD!!!!!!
YES
OUR BOY IS BACK AGAIN!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU DISNEY!!!!!
Me too 😃
Love that he was in it!
The obvious respect both Mickey and Oswald have for each other (Mickey saying “After you,” Oswald tipping his “hat”) makes me so happy. Plus, not only Mickey acknowledges Oswald is there- several characters watch him walk up and Kuzco even speaks to him.
2D animation never dies. In fact, it has got more traction than CGI ever did recently. People got so sick of CGI animation that lacked any human artistry for years. They wanted 2D animation to come back into the limelight after years of neglect by Hollywood itself. Animation itself is for everyone, and it's an art medium as a whole. What these suits from Disney, Hollywood, etc don't understand is that Animation is a human art in of itself, not just for kids but by adults, teens and elders can enjoy the art of animation as a whole.
Absolutely love 2d animation so much!
Bro we really need 2D movies back like that was so flipping GOOD
@GalaxyGeeks it wasn't AI. For The Genie. I've heard they used Archive Recording. With one of the many many. Improvised lines Robin Williams did
Eric Goldberg announced last year in April that 2D animation is returning.
I like 2d and 3d equally, but yes there is a warmth to 2d that's unique and i wanna see more from western animation. ALSO it's cheaper than 3d, so...
I almost cried and sang along and it is still stuck in my head, thank you for 100 years of magic ✨️🥲🥹🥰💖
It was magical!!!!
Happy 100th Anniversary Disney!!! 😄❤️
Loved it!
@@GalaxyGeeks Same here! It was beautiful! Disney would be very proud. 😊❤️
I can't wait to watch this!😁 I have to admit, I teared up at the end when they started singing When You Wish Upon a Star. It's hard to believe it's been 100 years since Walt and his brother Roy started this great company that has enchanted, delighted and inspired so many people all around. It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from, the Magic connects us all. 🧚🏻✨💫 So to Walt and Roy, as Cinderella told her fairy godmother, thank you. Thank you so much for everything. 🧚🏻✨💫🏰
It was so amazing!
@@GalaxyGeeks I saw that it's on Disney Plus now so I will definitely be watching it today! 😃
God, this short made my day, gave me the giggles, made me shed a tear and really nostalgic. Man, it was so adorable, my heart fluttered, this was my childhood man. And exactly, spot on when you said the magic they gave. Despite of everything, disney, especially disney animation, really means a lot to me 🥹
Call me a disney adult I dont care you gen Zs!
haha i love it!
Absolutely amazing. The ways they blended the hand-drawn and CG animation together with the live action backgrounds looked unbelievable, particularly in that one super long uncut shot.
The fact they brought back pretty much all the voice actors for each of the characters even if it was just like one line each. Not to mention the archive audio for Genie, Peter Pan, Jiminy Cricket, etc.
That moment where Mickey says thank you to the picture of Walt. Which I just got to say was one of the best ways to have integrated him. It would have been so easy to just have Mickey walk past a screen playing an old recording of him or use some other kind of freaky deepfake stuff to have him there in a physical sense, but that would've felt really forced.
And then the end with everyone holding hands and singing When You Wish Upon A Star. All so so good. Happy 100th Anniversary, Disney.
Loved it!
It was so amazing to see all the characters together both old and new thanks to Walt Disney for bringing the magic I created a whole legacy... My favorite part was when Mikey stopped to look at Walt's photo even with his favorite music playing in the background ..😭 This short was very cute, it would be even better if they had made it into a movie like they did with House of Mouse, but I'm still grateful, happy 100 to Disney, I hope that one day they return to have the Magic that characterized them.😍
it was so wonderful!
Actually no the voice of Robin William is NOT AI in this short Disney company got special permisson from Williams' estate to use his voice. Other versions of Robin Williams which does use AI voice for him is "Frakenstien" mess according to his Daughter,.. so this circuvent the trope.
That’s awesome they were able to get that!
I cried when Mickey talked to Walt. That part was so damn special.
3:02 - That's Splat from Strange World!
Hahah yeah I realized at the end haha we still gotta check that movie out
I'm so glad Asha was in this even though her movie hasn't been released yet, that's so cute
Agreed it was a quick introduction into the family
It would be very stupid to not include her. Her movie was made to celebrate the 100th aniversary, so it would make no sense that Asha didn't appear on a short also made for the triple digits.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this short. Seeing Mickey looking at the Walt Disney photo made me emotional. Even Mickey using the line, “Gotta go, on with the show.” That was the last line Disney got to say for Mickey. He made every child’s childhood magical thought the 100 years.
Did you see how the disney characters jumped out the picture frames that was incredible
It was great!
It was kind of like skidoo’s from Blue’s Clues
They actually did not use AI for Robin's voice!
Its archive recordings!
They got the family approval too
I love this so much!
I actually teared up, disney being my escape during my childhood and I've seen almost every disney movies, series, and cartoons. It's just a huge nostalgic feeling as an adult and makes me feel like a kid again 🥹❤️
It’s a heartwarming feeling seeing and hearing Disney heroes and villains we’ve gotten to know over the years putting aside their differences for this 100th anniversary celebration! Walt would’ve loved it! 🥲
Ah, I remember like it was yesterday when I watched Snow White and the Seven Dwarves for the first time. It was my first Disney movie, it gave me the love for all Disney films. Yes, even for their sister studio Pixar. Happy 100th Anniversary, Disney.
This was so great!
Wow! Gotta say I was in the full grip of nostalgia while watching this. Pretty much from the moment Mickey took off his hat to Walt's picture to the end I was a blubbering mess!
Haha same it was beautiful!
what a pity, this short isnt available in my country, thanks for making a reaction video so that i can enjoy it haha. how sweet it is to see all my fav characters bonding together. they're my best buddies forever as they never change, no rivalry, no betray

At 5:00 you can see Gurgi from The Black Cauldron, another obscure Disney cartoon!
Oh that’s awesome didn’t catch that one!
I think during the singing at the end you see the Princess from The Black Cauldron the other forgotten Princess beside Kida from Alantis:The Lost Empire
Once Upon a Studio is the perfect nostalgia trip. Disney did good. Disney did very good.
This looks so amazing. I think Disney should make a web or TV series called "Night at the Studio" where all the Disney animated characters interact with each other. Girl dogs like Rita and Georgette could flirt with Tod the fox much to Vixey's annoyance, The Disney princesses getting together drinks and playing with animals like Simba and Bambi, Robin Hood getting trouble with Nick and Judy, and so many other things.
YO, THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME
There's already a show called "House of Mouse" that had this same proposal (but it was canceled many years ago).
But an updated version would be great!
@@archie676 Heck yeah
This would be great!
Why are there no characters from The Sound of Music and other 20th Century films?
Got emotional seeing Walt and hearing his favorite song Feed the Birds….
We both teared up!
What makes this so beautiful is that ALL the Disney characters are there. Not just the popular ones. I have Bolt as a DVD and I cried seeing him with Mittens and Rhino. 😢❤ Disney gave us such beautiful memories thanks to all that worked for Disney and Walt Disney himself
Also, I want that picture!
Agreed!
2:24 Nope, it’s two lines from the many hours of ad libbing Robin Williams did, Disney reached out to his estate and got permission to use the dialogue since they need permission to use anything not from the film per his will.
That’s so amazing :)
That’s actually Robin Williams real voice, not AI, they had so many hours of Robin ad libbing the script, this is one of many ad libs he did that didn’t make it to the final movie, I wish they could release all of it 💜
I love this so much!
This is the most Disney thing Disney has made in years…..AND IT MADE ME CRY!
This actually made me cry. Especially when Micky went to Walt and the genie and Iago. And now I can't stop crying.

Treasure Planet was such a vibe! Pity Pixar and Blue Sky overshadowed it
MULTIPLE LION KING CAMEOS SUCH A W
It really was!
Sobbing this is so beautiful. Thank you Walt
As a Young teen who still loves disney but thinks theres no need for remakes, my heart was set ABLAZE for this short film. I mainly grew up with Bambi, Tangled, brother bear, moana and THE LION KING is a major one. I cant believe they've come this far.
The Genie part is actually Robin. When he recorded his lines, he just kept going on and on like a machine gun, so there's lots of unused audio. Also, the Snuggly Duckling is actually a bar/cafe they have in the studio for the animators, actors, etc.
To put "feed the birds" into the scene where mickey is remembering walt makes me cry so hard
I’m not crying… 😢that’s the wonderful thing I’ve seen this year
haha we weeped!
I’m so happy that Oswald reunites with Mickey in Once Upon a Studio but where’s Ortensia The Cat and also Kronk and Yzma
hmmm true i didnt see them

Same it was just beautiful!
Absolutely loved this short, though I was a bit disappointed some characters only appeared at the end during the group photo. Other than that, it's so sweet!
agree it was amazing!
I cried when I saw Oswald at first he’s my Mickey but when I rewatched the beginning and heard Robin Williams voice I started crying again. There’s only one Genie. Omg it brought me happy tears and I can’t wait to go back to Disneyland soon! 💚
It was just so beautiful!
Not AI! They used cut lines from the actual Robin Williams recordings for the Genie scene!
I love it!

4:59 I can’t be the only one flipping out over the acknowledgment of The Black Cauldron here, right? They put Gurgi in!
Not only bringing some voice talent representing there roles or using some the old voices.
But giving some great conversations to some character and bring many forgotten characters back like chicken little, Pete dragon, the character from treasure, kronk, the home on the range,Oliver,Pete dragon and many more.
Walt Disney. You are great man and made me want to inspire by your work no matter what people say.
*you are a legend*
I wanted to see Max and Roxanne.
Awww that would have been great!
I think they might be some where in this
I was thinking the exact same thing. As a matter of fact, I wanted to see all the Goofy Movie characters in the short film as well, but Max and Roxanne especially.
Oh Yeah!!!@@moviefan99
But A Goofy Movie wasn't made by Walt Disney Animation Studios, that's why they weren't included.
