  • A somewhat comprehensive guide on changing a lever harp string. The process for a pedal harp is almost exactly the same; just remember to keep you pedals disengaged! Feel free to ask questions I'm the comments. As always, the background music is by me!

I just replaced a broken string for the first time ever and your video has the best description of how to make sure the string overlaps itself on the peg. Thanks so much!

Fantastic guide! I watched a few videos trying to figure out how to replace a string on my daughter's Troubadour VI, and this was the most helpful by far. Mission accomplished! Many thanks.

Wow Sara! You are a life saver! I just got my very first harp (22 strings) and I was trying to tune it and one string broke. I just need to figure out how to tune it. I'll look in your channel to see if you have a video about it. Thanks!!

So many helpful tips and the clise up visuals were great. My first harp string popped during the night out of the sound box. Wierd! Got my new harp in February. Advise to listen all the way thru before starting as I did not tune my other strings first. Also I see harpist keep a diary of sorts of the string histories. Do you carry a full set in your harp bag?

Interesting knot. Does it have a name? Reminds me of knot tying class from Boy Scouts.
