All water is radioactive! Seek shelter from rain and avoid contact with streams or lakes!
Played on Accurate, Lost River
Fall damage can be used to pretend the water actually damaged you
Territory quest (snowy) goes as normal. Lore wise, the accident responsible for the radioactivity happens somewhere in late winter/early spring.
Can't touch water (streams, lakes)
Can't drink water, obviously
Can't touch rain
Can't touch snow
Pups are not safe from water or rain either
If a pup has prolonged exposure to any form of water, they must be left out to die from exposure (or other causes)
If prey has touched the water recently, it's unsafe to eat (this means no beavers, or herds that have crossed water)
Likewise, food cached at den becomes inedible if rained on. Keep it safe.
Hunting after rain is not recommended. Let a couple hours pass before you hunt
If it snows, it's only safe to step out once it has fully melted away
