Yes and no, while Dubai does naturally get rain maybe twice a year, there is weather manipulation as well. Either way it was very hectic for travel, I’m happy to be coming home today!😅👍✨
Cloud seeding was not to blame. They do it often, yes but they didn't do it anytime recently. And cloud seeding can't produce these levels of rain. This is just global warming accelerated and weather just going crazy as a result of it.

People think Dubai is bad try making it through hurricane Katrina in the heart of New Orleans Louisiana smh. That was something l will never see in life again. If only the news channels covered what really happened during Katrina other than being under water
I agree with that. The US has experienced way worse when it comes to inclement weather (and the omission of these details from mainstream media). We never experienced catastrophic flooding like you guys did in the south, we did our fair share of blizzards!
The one thing I’ll say in the case of Dubai is that when they do experience flooding, their city is not equipped at all for any form of precipitation. No proper drainage system was put in place when the city was built, which is a major oversight on their part!

I’m actually pretty lucky to have missed the rain by one day! My initial trip was starting on the 16th but I had to rebook my whole itinerary. Everyone who arrived on the 16th had their flights diverted to Abu Dhabi.
