True, the vocals were never as bad as people made it out to be. Also, with the intense choreo the girls do, it’s normal to sound breathy. Those hating kpop fans are just too used to “perfect” vocals bc of lipsyncing etc. They’ve forgotten what an actual raw, live performance sounds like. The girls said they’ve been working on their live singing and it shows. They’ve never dropped the mic ever since Coachella. I love these girls more and more with every comeback
They’ve always sounded great and stable live, especially when they performed at universities. They’re just not perfect, and that’s okay, they’re bound to have bad days. What would help is more training, and I hope they’re getting some. They sound great here, but it’s nothing new from what I’ve already heard from them; stable, live vocals.💞 They’ve been stable since debut, and I won’t let any amount of hate they receive make me forget this fact!!
I think they decided after being slandered for a normal-sounding LIVE Coachella set to always sing live out of spite. It makes the other fandoms that slandered them look stupid every time their faves lip sync. Especially when in much lower stakes venues with their basic "model pose" choreos.
